Elevation:
there is a community market (where u get various commodities), you can still shop at major markets around the school,you can work but if you have goods to sell, once you place an advert with your number at hostels you would get a call, however combining business and schooling would be kind of demanding (your disposition matters though).
awesome.... Thanks boss, appreciate you

Good morning Nlders,
I will go straight to the point,

I am a 26+ year old seeking admission into higher institution, currently preparing for the next UTME, bearing in mind that I am going to be responsible for my tuition et all...

I seek your candid opinion on which federal schools are cheapest and has enabling environment that can make life easier for a student who will be sending himself to school as I intend to go into some sort of biz venture or job to help myself.

Please your advice would be appreciated, thanks.
federal University of technology Minna.. I'm a fresh graduate from there although I studied Agricultural and Bioresources engineering.. nothing like lecturer selling handouts or textbooks, their school fees is around 30k.. what course do you want to apply?

bayero university, kano is the answer
Some times it is not about the cost of tuition fee but other petty petty, wicked and unnecessary costs that matters which you don't see in BUK. THAT'S WHY ADMISSIONS ARE VERY COMPETITIVE THERE

Well one doesn't really know.
These days federal universities seem to be in a competition to fire their tuitions through the roof.

Schools in the North are way cheaper but due to crisis, I'd advice you run run run! Obafemi Awolowo University still remains the cheapest in the South. Find the summarized fee breakdown below;

First year; #60,000 max (accommodation and acceptance fee inclusive)
Subsequent years: #15,000 max.
Good Luck!

Re: Which Is The Cheapest Federal University In Nigeria Currently? by ImmaculateJOE(m): 6:47pm On Dec 23, 2019
Dvd4:
Year1 is usually most expensive but subsequent fees are cheap.
Example: Unizik fees from second year is about 23,100.

However, cheap schools includes;
ABU, ZARIA and most northern schools
UNIZIK
UNIBEN
UNICAL
UI I think
OTHER FEDERALS ARE FAIRLY CHEAP

MAUTECH Yola. is N33800 for returning students while new students pay from N43800
