Schools in the North are way cheaper but due to crisis, I'd advice you run run run! Obafemi Awolowo University still remains the cheapest in the South. Find the summarized fee breakdown below;

First year; #60,000 max (accommodation and acceptance fee inclusive)
Subsequent years: #15,000 max.

Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, is very cheap and affordable. I was admitted during the 2018/2019 session to study Civil Law. We paid N29,500 in 100L. In 200L, we'll be paying N19,900.
The above mentioned fees cover your school fee, registration fee, faculty fee, library fee, acceptance fee, etc. If you wish to live in the hostel, the price is N7,090 only.
There are many other departments in Samaru that pay lesser.

ABU, Zaria..first year back then i paid 25,250 then subsequently paid around 18,750 (accommodation inclusive). No lecturer is permitted to sell handouts if caught he or she is fired, there are photocopying centers at almost all the departments, so the lecturer will take the handouts there, then students can go get them, you can collect from your coursemates and read ( switch handouts day/night reading), seriously ABU is good i tell you, the thing is ask GOD to direct you to His perfect will for you, do not walk in error not even in a country like Nigeria.

I did my ND in fed school in s/w but when I moved to the north too, I knew talents plenty.. I thought all ended in the s/w but getting to the north, I became more serious and intelligent than ever. Though they ain't really expose but u gonna enjoy ur stay.. Places like Zaria and kano are evry peaceful...

You are wrong ma.. U served in kano but I schooled there... Notin like crisis in kano, don't mislead people.. I'm a Christian, I stay in sabon gari, I stay within the Muslim dominated areas.. Notin like crisis in kano I repeat... Bliv I went there, people were shouting ahhhhhh kano, even my mom. N dad shouted kano kano boko haram, but those things are rumor.. Kano is safe
