If you are going to buy an item from Aliexpress,be ready to exercise patience..

The item has been ordered and shipped and all you can do now is to have patience..

Your phone will get to you and all you need is to chill for now and have some patience..

The Dude is a highly trusted Seller on Nairaland and Customers have NOTHING but praise and recommendations..

I've had to buy things from Aliexpress and have to wait for the full SIXTY DAYS to get a refund..

So making all these noise after just 3 WEEKS is highly unnecessary..

If you or your friend are not the patient type,

Then next time proceed to a physical store and make your purchase..

My story might be long but please try and listen to the end. In October, a friend approached me that he wants to buy a phone. I told him about Xiaomi phones and he liked their product after reading reviews online. After our discussion, he asked me to help him to purchase the phone. I searched on nairaland and found “Azeez Olatunji with phone number 07051054953 with username “NOBODY”. He seemed to be a legit seller so I had to introduce him to my friend.
bros if i order phone for u on aliexpress and the phone didnt come, you will have to wait for alie press to refund me so that i can pay u, i cant pay u with my own money,,
aliexpress policy is 60days full money refund of u dont get ur phone,,, but on normal basics the phone takes 16 days to arrive Nigeria, but if its lost on transit ,they will refund after 60 days,, let ur friend wait, for 60 +10 days from day of shipping

I would love to deeply apologise to you for your terrible shipping experience,it is not our wish to see our clients dissatisfied as well,because whenver we see our customers unbox or drop us a good review,its gives us ultimate joy and pleasure..

Back to the issue at hand,i believe i have pleaded with you countless times to please be patient,let the purchase protection expires,but since you insisted you wanted to come air the issue on nairaland,i suggested you do that,so i would have a chancw to explain my self and to explain to nairalanders i have noting to hide,

I am quite positive,before this ugly issue with the person you refered to me,we have had over 2-3 succeful deals which turned out great with absolutely no issues.

And we all know,NOOBODY as a brand on nairaland is a very very legit name on here,with no stains on my name,or record of ever scamming or dupping anyone,and by Gods grace,yours wont be the first and there would never be such case against my name ever and ever smiley

Now lets face the main issue,

Very true,your friend contacted me that he was refered by you to get a xiaomi redmi 7 4/64gb tru me from aliexpress,we agreed on a 45k price,which i told him would take about 2-3 weeks to arrive and he would get it.(now here is the mistake i made,because i have this caveat placed on my adverts,so i bliv clients should have read up my adverts befor they contacted me,i shld have told him,if his item doesnt arrive btwn 2-3 weeks,he would have to wait for the purchase protection of 60 days to expire,befor i would be able to file a dispute and get his refund,this is my bad actually,and i deeply once again apologise for this ommision,because my initial tot was that he has read that up,i have posted a picture below so you guys can see)pls,kindly note,me nd the buyer nor the op never had any agreement on instant refund,if delivery failed after 2-3 weeks,all i promised was prompt delivery after 2)3 weeks.my mistake as earlier stated was that i never informed the op of possiblity of long deliveries,which i take complete fault for.
which your friend was truely skeptical to make payment at first due to trust issues,but i assured him and explained to him,for me to help him place an order on aliexpress,he must have to make the payment in order to enable me facilitate the order process,

Sure,he agreed,but he told me,he was not capable to make the payment on the spot,that i should kindly help him buy the phone he would pay the next day,which i eventually agreed to,i went ahead and placed the order,but your guy didnt eventually make the payment the next day,he actually made the payment 5 days after he promised he would pay,which i was not too happy with,but didnt stop me from placing the order,which it was eventually shipped out.

Fast forward,item was shipped(which i provided a tracking number to your guy),but after 2-3 weeks i promised,unfortunately the item did not arrive,i suspected my worst fears have come to past,because at the moment,this issue is not only affecting your guy only,i have about 15-20 phones facing the same fate as well,the item must have probally gotten lost in transist,or its been delayed due to the december festive season,which shipping is usually overwhelmed.,you guy kept calling me,i kept giving him assurance that there is still likely hopes that his item arrives,the coming week.
But sadly still the item did not arrive,
So your friend,gladly asked me for a way forward,due to the fact that his current phone is giving him serious issues,i understood his plight,and explained to him that,when such issue arise,the only option left to us is to be patient and wait for the phone to arrive,or wait for the purchase protection time to expire befor we can file a dispute and get his refund for him,surely he was obvously not happy with that,
I as well gave him another third option due to his current situation which i felt really bad for,
The option was that i give him a brand new xiaomi redmi note 7 4gb/128gb,all he had to do was add 15k to what he paid earlier,and he could come pick that one up immiediately,which was a far better deal than what he would get at the current market price which sells for over 70k,.he told me it was a good deal,he wants to take sometime to think over it,and get accross to his boss,which is the OP,
Next thing i got was a call from the OP flaring up on the phone,shouting and screaming at me,saying,why hasnt the guy gotten his phone,why have i not refunded the guy and all sorts,i tried to calm the op down to explain the aliexpress process to him,but he was having none of it,he called me a liar,a dubious person,that i have to refund the guy immiediately,that he has experience with aliexpress,and he knows aliexpress doesnt have such policies where buyers hav to wait 60 days befor they can file a dispute,and get refund,
I even went as far and show him picture evidence of what the purchase protection is,but the op refused blantantly.
He later came to a conclusion that the final solution to this issue was for him to come to nairaland,with the sole purpose of soiling and spoiling my reputation on nairaland so others wont fall for the same tricks and tactics which he claimed i used on him(that was the exact op words),he insisted he would come on nairaland to spoil my name,my business,,and i pleaded with him he shld not do that,that we can always settle this issue amicably as matured people that we are,
Even the guy that paid for the phone is actually more understanding that what the op turned out to be.which in all honesty,i dont blame him for that.

I gave the OP the go ahead to call me out on nairaland,where i can clearly explain my self to the world and nairalanders,so he can know,i have absolutely nothing to hide.because the OP was actually thinking,i was pleading with him not to call me out on nairaland because he thinks i have something to hide.

And not to sound rude,or like i dont care as regards the op complaints or the phone owners plight,

I am very sorry that i wont be able to process a refund not until when the purchase protection expires,which has about 18 days and some hours left.i have posted the picture in this post as proof as well,for all to see.

In conclusion:
Once again,my dear OP,my dear friend,i am deeply sorry for the experience you face as regards this order,
It is never our intention for your orders not to arrive,which is why i really dont mention the 60 days purchase protection ish,but this has tot me a very important lesson to always inform my customers ahead of potention delays in the future befor they pay for orders.
And kindly note,NOOBODY would never scam,dupe,short change you in any single deal we transact,no matter how small or big.this just happen to be a series of very unfortunate events which wants to ruin our good relationship and this joyus season of love.

Waste of time. Once the item has left the seller's shop, there's nothing anyone can do. Unless you open dispute after 60 days if you don't get it

This shouldn't have reach this stage... All i see is poor communication... This issue is common with AliExpress... He can't refund your money till the said 60 days... This is one of the important information he suppose to have informed your friend about... Ask for tracking number and screenshot of the order page of your item so you can be rest assured... He supposed to have send this to you as well...

Below is an item i ordered for myself since November... Still not yet in Nigeria up till now

Bought a Redmi phone from him the first time early this year, no issues. By the time I wanted 2 more, having paid him, he started acting funny...became so rude, so abusive, always shouting on the phone. I couldn't understand how a so-called known seller on Nairaland phone section could be so lacking in manners and wisdom, called me all sorts of names over nothing. When I had time to reflect over the whole incidence, I realised it was just simple misunderstanding from both of us. Rather than for Noobody to maturely listen to me, he was just pouring out his misplaced anger on me; at a point even called me a scammer! I had to bear all his insults, cos I just wanted to recover the phone or my money by all means.
Eventually, he delivered the phones ( of course without the accessories he had earlier promised to give). The guy can lie! Kept changing his words and at the same time accusing me of what he was clearly guilty of.

I jejely collected the phones, grateful to God that I did not lose my money at the end (@150k). All through, Noobody never showed any remorse for his extremely poor customer service. Would block me, then unblock for a while. I just vowed never to have anything to do with him again.

I'm glad someone's calling him out now and hope he gets what's coming to him.



P.S. By the way, I won't be surprised if he comes charging at my post like a bull, insulting his generation, not me...it is totally expected of someone like that who shows by his attitude that he totally lacks manners and common sense undecided

Careertalks my guy please we all solicit on behalf of Noobody for he should have been thorough with you based on the T&C but just know that he (Noobody) will never scam you or anyone else.
I know how much it hurts when items don't arrive on time, na person way fit troway face dey use AliExpress. Please help us beg your guy by Mid January he will either get your Phone or a Refund.

In as much as Nobody's communication rate and response time isn't the greatest, one thing he'd never do is scam you. He has a solid, reputable name already. So whats the point in soiling that name?
I've had countless phone deals with nobody— about 15, If I guessesy well.
There were times when he would get on your nerves for the way he communicated, but I want to believe that's a flaw he can get over with.

That said, be rest assured that you'd get your money back after the 60 days as promised. There's no point coming here to rubbish his name. It's actually a very stupid thing to do .


As you can see, there are several people who vouched for him already on this thread. So keep calm

I can't even believe your story because when I read what is here and how he even quoted you, I can clearly see that you must have been the faulyt one. Maybe he is pretending, but what is here shows a different story from what you said. You happen to be the one using harsh words not him. Let me tell you, what you said won't spoil his name. Even if I have not done business with him before, I know people who do business with him and have no complains. Here on nairaland people praise him and anyone who wants to buy something online gets redirected to him by fellow nairalanders.
If you had problems before, why bring it here? Do your own business and stop spoiling that of others.

You see in life everything is communication, Nobody may be a trust worthy guy... if you can communicate this trust properly, by telling people what they are getting into, you will run into these kind of problems.

Why can't Nobody write his or her own policies nd agreement so as to inform customers what they are getting into. Give them worst nd best case scenarios... we must learn to do the right things in this country.

OP no vex I think a lot of people are voicing for this guy. Best case scenario he is legit, worst case scenario he is using different account to comment on this thread. In any case just be patient.

To you nobody pls tell your customers what they are getting into first, save your name
