Since I upgraded my note 5 to MIUI 11 the phone started getting hot abnormally and battery life has been poor I don't even know what to do.

bro i tried downloading videos through vidmate. I change my storage location to SD card.. after I downloaded the videos, they all deleted automatically. . I don't know why..

If it is on your SD Card and you do a clean up it might affect them. Try moving them immediately you finish downloading if the clean up is not the case let's see.

P.S I don't use an SD Card and your above case is one of the reasons I stopped using SD Cards on my smartphone.

I moved the videos immediately I downloaded to my SD card.. and they all deleted.. I even change my storage location to SD card when downloading videos with my vidmate app but still the same thing..
What I am trying to say is that, I can't download videos to my SD card through vidmate. It only works when I download it to my internal memory... once I set the storage the SD card, it automatically deletes after downloading

If you are using redmi 8a and you can control your gotv with phone, pls teach me how to do if it's possible. Someone said here that's possible. It could depend on the model of the Xiaomi phone one is using, not sure though.

Don't start another SOT ish, bro. Just enjoy your phone. Charge it when you feel it's necessary but don't let it get too low before doing that. Handle it with care.
