It makes a whole lot of sense to spend such amounts on retreat , the company manages federal programs worth hundreds of billions not to ignore the massive corruption factor .
So spending spree, just check where they'd be after this govt.

In my opinion, I feel an SME that earns a profit after tax of about 2 billion naira per annum can conveniently spend 300 to 350 million naira on such trip since it's done once a year. This is also made possible since the money isn't shared among shareholders.

I'm skeptical of any company that has deep dealings with the Nigerian government, and wears the tech company Yoga and feeds us magic tricks. Before their handling of NPower and Co, how were they standing on their feet?. Chinese state owned backdoor companies never sell the thriving start-up BS, they make their stance clear (case in point Huawei, Tik Tok etc). But here we say A and do Z. The did might be wrong, but any close dealing with the Government for contracts just heightens my suspicion.

Softcom is the exclusive supplier of Samsung devices for Covenant university. During my time they supplied about 9000 Samsung devices to Covenant university.

I agree with you regarding the bold and if there happens to be nefarious activities between the firm and the government, then it casts a bad image on the company and the wider sector. This is because one day, one day, everywhere go burst.

The fact you provided shows that it was a contract between Convenant and Softcom, not Softcom and Samsung. How does supplying pre-installed devices to a university make Softcom a vendor of Samsung? Did you know that the founder of Softcom graduated from Convenant university in 2007? So, getting such a deal from an alumni isn't out of place. I stand on the fact that Softcom has never worked on a software development deal (which is what they are known for) with Samsung and/or FIFA.
