Umunna ndewo nu o.
Pls lets put sentiment aside as we are returning home this season. kindly take a look at the work that Buhari has done so far in Igbo land and report here. Its an infrastructural assessment.

1. For me i observe serious reconstruction of roads from Umuahia to Enugu,

2. Another serious road work ongoing from Enugu to Anambra.

3. Serious work on second Nigeria is going on too.

Jonathan spent almost six years in power without working seriously on these projects but Buhari came and today we can see big progress being made on the various projects.
Pls nobody should abuse the president here pls. Just comment decently. thanks.

i will post more as i travel from one part of Igbo land to the other

Many of the people opening these threads are not Igbo people but impostors who thinks that by using partly of full Igbo names as monikers, they can deceive themselves and not Igbos.

1. Count how many unnecessary armed men are on checkpoints from Onitsha to Enugu collecting money brazenly, how many new checkpoints have been established since 2015? grin

2. How many people have been killed in avoidable circumstances in the s e since 2015?

Stop your propaganda because it's dead on arrival.

Go and look for the meaning of Greek Gift. You're too gullible to have believed in this administration.

At least those claiming that it's a greek gift are not denying a gift was given.

Those that gave nothing gave nothing.

Start from number 1

Number 1 is non of my business because police check point is much in Enugu but not in Anambra . Enugu to Oji river houses over 10 check points but Awka to Nnewi has not more than 2 check points even Awka to Onitsha is same thing. So O don't know where you argument is heading to.

Unless you make it clearer.

Number 2 is what I am much concerned with.

Killed by who?

Oga those who know me can always testify that i am from Imo state so i dont need to forge anything,

I also agree with you that some people are claiming to be igbo here falsely

I agree with you that there are a lot of army check points but on the other hand their presence have reduced armed robbery cases on those roads.

Start from number 1

Do you know how many kidnapping incidents and robberies in the absence of those checkpoints?

You and I may not like the numbers of checkpoints, but it is better than encounters with armed robbers.

As for extortion, it is a national problem, not peculiar to South East. Nigerian Police extorts from motorists everywhere.

My brother I live in the east and I will say that eastern Nigerian roads are very bad. Yes there are patches of construction here and there but its four years already and all we get is few kilometers of road construction while others are getting rail lines and all.

Denying there were robbery and kidnapping incidents in the past and that the presence of armed officers on the highway had reduced those is a blind argument.

Either you are just sentimental or wrapped up in your echo chambers.

Some of these miscreants think their narrow mindsets is a blueprint for the rest of us.

For them, if you ever appreciate anything positive in this administration, something must be wrong with you. And for that you are not Igbo enough.

Yea the army check points are better than the robbery cases witnessed on those roads in the past.

In those days you travel those roads with so much fears but now we travel with relax minds.

Buhari should not remove the army check points pls.. The peace of mind we have now when we are traveling is more important than the sentiment being raised by those who are condemning it.

This rail line matter is funny.

I remember when Saraki and co were using it to punish Buhari.

Hope you weren't among those supporting them?

Even now, they've said they would need loans for the coastal rail. Once again, some are saying no.

Hope you are not among those saying no.

Mr Man,i am not here for frivolity and stupid propaganda.
ask yourself how many times have you heard commuters complain about that segment of the road unlike Aba-PH,East-west rd,Warri-Benin,Onitsha-enugu etc.that you hear people lament on this forum every time.
you are free to hype and worship you lord buhari but nobody should come here to spread stupid lies.
the truth is, we are not expecting anything from buhari government.

Chai....my brother why are you telling this blatant lie??

Pls be honest.from Umuahia to Okigwe was terrible on both sides of the road until Jonathan left

Buhari came and started working on one side of it, the left side of it to be precise, going from Umuahia to Okigwe. They got to an extent then started working of the right side from Umuahia. Now they ccompleted the right and they went back to completee the left side and they are almost done. Go there now and you will stiil see them working.

They are working seriously on Okigwe to Enugu. Go there now and you will see them.

Its only in the Port Hharcourt to Aba axis and the Aba to Owerrinta axis that work is too slow.

Pls always say the truth. Eziokwu di mkpa na ihe nile biko.

Just to be clear, I want the Government to look into the extortions. But outside that, the checkpoints are good. It is also better and more effective than Highway Patrols.

There has never been a time, past, present and future that Igbo roads has been fearful to travel on. The fears were fabricated by the very well publicised but too few kidnapping cases which there will never be a caught suspect or a conviction. grin

We are all wise.
