(1) Mind my business until issue's is brought to me before I interfere.

(2) Don't ever get so serious, discuss or get too close with the "ndi ofe ma nu"they can betray you for 25naira.

(3) Money is not everything. Your personality can pave way's for you.

(4) Not everyone who comes close, smile with you love you, and some friends can be so jealous.

(5) Instead of talking let your success speak for you and it is not every thing you tell pple even your close friends, because they can just get jealous.

1. That life is not a script and life doesn't just play out how we wished , so we only manage it.
2. The world will move on no matter happens .
3. Pursue happiness and peace of mind at all times.

To respect people and their opinions about me or any other thing... To love myself in all circumstances, even though it may sound selfish... To reduce stress and increase productivity in most things I do... To value all what I still have and prepare for whence I'll lose them... To forgive but never forget especially when forgetting can lead to repetition of pain... To live and let others live too, to grow and let others grow too, to love and let others love too... To argue less and discuss more especially when in the midst of people better than me... To know that Humans are not wired same way, therefore not expecting same thing or treatment or behaviour from everybody... To read better, learn better and love magnanimously.

We are like patients in coma undergoing surgery and when the surgeon wakes us up from coma we die. So live easy, you control nothing.

Kalixx:
.Thank you all nairalanders for a quite interesting 2019 year.

I want to use this medium to announce a drop in participation in Nairaland as from year 2020.

If you wake up to log in to NL to learn about the bad news about the country or for tribal masochism, and spend the next 1 hour on facebook or twitter looking at the latest news or trends, then spend another 1 hour on whatsapp looking at peoples' status and personal lifestyle, then spend the evenings to go watch how Chelsea should win or how Barcelona should fail...then keep logging off and on NL to see how many likes or mentions you have had...

then I put it to you that if you continue this trend for the next 2-3 years, especially if you are a youth that has a bright future ahead, the likelihood that you'll end up as a failure in life is high.

If you put all the minutes you spend on unproductive things online, it's enough to find a bearing for your life and loved ones even in the midst of the hardship all around.
simple truth. Thanks

2019 taught me to stop swimming ocean for people who wouldn't even cross a bridge for me. In essence I'm gonna treat people exactly how they treat me henceforth.

That an ex governor turned senator who refused to do a good job while in office , eg, build good schools, roads, hospitals, good health care system, provide security, build prisons and equip them. Will end up in one of the amenities he refused to provide adequately for, and also begging for healthcare that he did nothing to upgrade and is eating watery beans which he neglected to correct while in office.most especially, now sharing a common space with some people who couldn’t go to school but turned criminals because the government/governor failed them while he was in power.

It is a great lesson to me, to always be careful and always do the needful as I do not know when I will need those things I neglected in the past. Especially to always be good to people.

How to set goals, smash them and move on to the next... How to be a better version of myself. That's why most times I use the #letsgetbetter on my posts... How to value and maintain relationships and set boundaries to things, thoughts and desires... To stop depending on people as source of happiness. It took my so long to understand that only me can make me happy... How to better express my feelings and thoughts, the difference between being proud and be self-confident... How to be a better writer, poet and lover of everything I do. How to be be grateful for what I have and better ways of getting what I want.

That being human is not a crime, having flaws is not death sentence... That I need to do me and be shameless while doing it... That I need to stop trying to be the best but rather work to perform at my best... That losing is an integral part of winning, I shouldn't be a quitter... That I should stop judging and having preformed notions about people - its wreaking havoc... That being alone is not the same as being lonely - I should never go back to who or what broke me in the past... That there is more to life's than certificate, classrooms and partying - I should find happiness in other places...
