For me I don't. Though a mansion is wasting there but what can man do when there are so many obligations and responsibilities one has to meet up in the city?

Secondly I just don't feel the vibe there. Too much envy and evil.

Lastly my kids are comfortable spending holidays with my parents in the city cos my parents live in the city too so what's the point of going to the village I ask?
Its been over two years now. I miss home, miss my parents, siblings and relations, especially my little nieces and nephews. but, i cant just go yet, still trying to get established here first. already hinted them that i wont be coming home any time soon till things pick up for me. About envy and evil, " A child that did not die will certainly become and adult"

Chai! I miss my NYSC days in Esit-Eket, Akwa-ibom state. Mehn, good days, this would have been a perfect time to visit the beach.

Bro what's Esit-Eket like. My sister have been posted to the secondary school there and I am trying to get her prepared. Help a bro please.

Is it Eket Modern High school? If yes, they have accommodation. Most schools have accommodations. Anyways, rent there is cheap, I paid N24,000 for a year.

It's Community Secondary School Akpa Utong. Thanks for the info. So based on current inflation and hardship rate, rent should be between 36 - 48. Thanks alot.

Hometown or place of birth is a better word, please. We misuse this village word in this country. The city you currently live and reside is someone else's "village".
