Of course, China is a working nation(we can't deny that). A very lawful state where everything is accounted for. Only a few 'democratic' nations are as effective as China today. I know all these facts. Despite the citizens of many other nations deciding to choose China as their destination for both studies and tourism(like you stated), the hong-kongers have good reason to protest against 'being a full part of China'

Maybe the hong-kongers just like the freedom of visiting social media platforms like FB and twitter without having to use VPNs, or news websites like BBC.
Or maybe they loathe the idea of using your national ID card to sign up for an email, or open a social media profile.

there is no variety for a principle, no matter a political one or a scientific one. principle applies to everyone and every country.

how to read a book? first take a book from bookshelf, then sit down , then open the book. white/black/yellow read a book more or less in the same way.
