It's called Aku lue Uno or Aku rue ulo depending on the Igbo dialect.
It's a new mantra among the Igbos which means 'bring the wealth home', in recent past these kind of mansions used to be built only in Lagos, Kano and elsewhere the Igbos reside and do their businesses or work.
But frequent attacks, jealousy and envy even on forums like Nairaland have made them to start thinking home by putting up these magnificent structures in their hometowns (even if they may not spend more than 2 weeks in a year in them).

In the process jobs are created and the economy is boosted at home as most of the building materials are
sourced locally from their people.

For those who keep wondering how they made their money, just understand that Igbos are business and technically minded people, they see opportunities where others don't, they multitask to make money while you are on one spot.
When Kaycee is not singing he is doing oil and gas contracts with his brother and associates.

Igbos invest without making noise about it, I have betting shops in different parts of Lagos which I control from my phone anywhere I am, while still maintaining a Civil service Job which I don't want to quit because the Govt job is like free money for a hustler like me.

I knew that Buhari will run down the economy and many Nigerians will be desperate to make quick money, so I took a loan and opened the first Bet9ja shop, every Tuesday I get commission from different shops (which makes my salary insignificant) and my colleagues in the office still think that me and them na mate, I do it quietly

Instead of abusing, let's learn from each other, one of the things that shocked the British colonial masters was the ability of the Igbos to learn whatever the Whiteman was doing and perfect it.
