It is not nosense my dear, he making avaliable information that could have reach the public to the masses. On the first instance, he has performed his statutory duties of identifying that monies recieved unbhalf of the public was not properly accounted for. Secondly, the report contain all the people responsible to such fraudulent acts. Thirdly, he lacks the constutional power to prosecute them and recover the monies for the masses. Fifth, that is why the Auditor general for the federation has been seeking for review of such powers through the Audit bill before Mr. President for over 4yrs which he has refused to Acent Sixth, if the Audit bill before Mr. President is accented to, the public officer will be prosecuted independently by the Auditor general and the monies recovered for public benefit. Our duties is to ask Mr. President to Assent the Audit bill before him, if he actually want to fight corruption. [qquote author=MikeBetty post=85366930]This Is Nonsense. Are You Telling Us To Do What? Where are Fg's Instrumentalities Of Revenue Collection And Anti~graft Agencies? Where Is Efcc, Icpc, Police And Dss? They Should Swing Into Action And Save The Nation From External Borrowing By Mopping Up These Revenues.[/quote] |

Stalwert:I think you should turn that finger back to yourself. If you're too dull to see the point I raised from the Op. The question then should be what other reason could be adduced for holding FIRS responsible for fall in revenue when customs can't make half of what they make in an import dependent economy, and even that in an economy just exiting recession. If the govt has become notorious for nepotism, it's not my fault. If you have a superior knowledge of why fowler was held responsible when customs obviously performed far worse feel free to share it or else you're just a zombie as people call you |
