Its a very good device but if you are the type that tweaks and root. Pls dnt waste your money. Get other models with sd instead

Really considering this phone... But my friends are saying I should use the money to get a UK used iPhone 8+ ....I am having a hard time choosing between "function" and perceived "class"
Any help?

You may need to take a closer look at your pals grin

But since you asked here, I strongly recommend that you buy a "Brand New Redmi Note 8 Pro"(84k for 6/64 version or 91k for 6/128) & not a "Used older device" which costs more(iPhone 8 plus price starts @ around N135k & there are even better performing brand new phones at this price)
By the way...
Redmi Note 8 Pro + Gcam is amazing (if you are a photo freak this combo will never disappoint you)...

Mediatek is a very bad chipset.
Developers have discontinued the phone on their lists. Check xda Nah... Don't buy that crappy device.
