Nope, it was not owned by that church but by the Adeleke's family. Davido's family. And actually they make it looks like a secular school. I think the Adeleke's family belong to that church, they now try to incorporate their church belief to the university

He is a strong adventist and decided to adopt same in his University (the university is more of charity as most students there are not paying fees). It is his school and decides what is in the handbook and what way of life student should adhere to while in his school. If you cannot follow the rules, you leave. After all, you were not kidnapped to the school. No sentiment in this. Also, you need to brush up because your arguments are baseless. Its all sentiments, no reasoning. If you need info on the school, go to Ede and stop all this website yarns.

I schooled in babcock (graduated 05) and none of my muslim classmates or friends missed chapel except you are out of school. It did not stop them from being muslim. Its just 4yrs or you go to like UI or Lag and spend forever there because of chapel.. i repeat, we like lawlessness

I have been privileged to meet with christians from different parts of the country and have met very nice and tolerant ones. A northern Christian or an Igbo Christian would try to be good Christians to the best of their abilities and won't hate on you while pretending to be one with you. but most Yoruba Christians I have met will pretend to like you. They pretend that they don't have a problem with your choice of religion, but will always try to undermine you at the slightest opportunity. I try to avoid getting too close to them, because they are very cunning. They harm you while pretending that all is well.

Enough is enough about this school and Muslim students saga! It is clearly written on their website that the school is run by 7th day Adventist but they will tell you they are ignorant of that, how?
How do you seek for admission without enquiry about the school? They claim "Christian" is not indicated in the school's name thereby making it a secular school.
This is not the 1st or even 10th time this issue is coming up, yet they still go for admissions there and disturbing cyber space.
Even Our Lady of Apostles, Ibadan {a Catholic school} is being challenged for not allowing hijab while they refuse to go to Ansarudeen.
Is Adeleke University the only school in Nigeria? Must they be there? Did they not sign agreements to comply with school rules? Are there no Muslim Universities?
The worst part is that they will still seek for admissions there for the next session and come online ranting again.

I am with you on this. My take is that gov't has not done quite enough regarding religion. I think there should be some sort of laws guiding it... Like if you have to own an institution such as a faith-based university, you must limit the prospective students to such faith, otherwise, you must give freedom of religious practice to students of different faiths.

And again nobody forced him to go there, he applied to the university by himself knowing fully well the university is Christian aligned.

Madam I believe there is crescent university and some other Islamic universities even in the south west, the question you should ask is why didn’t he go there?

Like i said, they didnt force anybody to go there, its your choice. If you are looking at finishing school on time, it shouldn't be a problem. However, if you want to be sentimental, you go to a govt school and deal with all the strikes and issues they have. You cannot eat your cake and have it.
