Etebo rift with the coach might be a blessing in disguise. He escapes possible relegation with Stoke.

I am not sure if stoke will go down, but its a very good move and i hope they sign him permanently

Even the fans are complaining about the coach allowing him go because they regard him as one of their best player

He should not be in the championship at first, he has already proven him self at la liga with few games

Everton have sent scouts to watch former Sunderland striker Josh Maja, according to French reporter Ignazio Genuardi (via the Daily Star).

Genuardi wrote on Twitter: #Everton notably supervised #Maja ( #Bordeaux ) during the defeat of December 15 against Strasbourg. Other Premier League residents are also watching the former Sunderland player. #Mercato#FCGB”

Both Cenk Tosun and Oumar Niasse have been linked with moves away from Goodison in January which could free up a space in the attacking ranks.

And Maja, who signed Bordeaux in January last year after impressing in League One, is thought to be on the radar.

Maja started out with Manchester City’s academy before breaking through at the Stadium of Light and he’s managed six goals this season.

It’s thought Chelsea may also be interested.

We are fans. We are always looking at good players that can improve our team regardless of whether they are home or abroad. If we see good players at home we will also clamor for them. Is the NFF’s job is to make the domestic league attractive. that remains their responsibility regardless of whether they approach players with dual nationality or not.

Danielnino00:

U people are misinterpreting the guy... He didn't say we should shut out players with links to Europe completely. He wants us put more attention into the development of our cadets teams back home..more attention to grassroot football.. The main reason we are chasing foreign born players around is because we don't have enough home grown players that are better..

Can u in all honesty say u are pleased with the performance of our cadet teams in 2019? the u-17, u-20 and u-23? .. Even the NPFL can't boost of a well structured youth system to unearth talents.
..
We need to make improvement in that aspect
.pay more attention to development of football at the grassroot level!! It would benefit us in the long run and won't affect the inclusion of foreign born players in the national team at all...

PS: I'm not in any way against the inclusion of foreign born players in the national team..I just don't like the way we droll over every Chinedu,Danladi and Adigun that emerges from another country as if the ones we have back home are useless!

Tottenham Hotspur have been put off by Queens Park Rangers' valuation of their playmaker Eberechi Eze.

According to the Daily Express, the Championship club have demanded 20 million pounds (approximately N9.3 billion in Nigerian currency) for the attacking midfielder, but the cost of signing the player has been deemed too high by Spurs.

Chelsea, Leicester City and West Ham are among the Premier League clubs monitoring the situation of Eze, who comes off contract with Queens Park Rangers at the end of next season.

Eze has impressed in the Championship this term and took his tally for the season to ten goals as QPR thrashed Cardiff City on New Year's Day.

The 21-year-old is one of the creative players in the Rangers squad, producing six assists in his 26 appearances in the English second-tier.

Apart from a brief loan spell at Wycombe Wanderers during the 2017-2018 season, Eze has played nonstop at Queens Park Rangers since the summer of 2016, after he was released by Millwall.

A move to Leicester would be perfect. Maddison is likely to leave by season end

But but but...Aribo should brace up for a bench role, with Etebo teaming up with and putting great shifts for a good team like Getafe in that Laliga and in the Europa league

I doubt if Joe Aribo Would be subjected to the bench though irrespective of whether Etebo performs for Getafe or not.

Instead, he would be pulled out for substitution by the said Etebo after starting as far as he himself keeps his place on the Rangers team list while also putting up a five star performance too

Bkus Rohr was restricting Etebo from surging forward unlike Aribo, hence making Ndidi have an undefined role?

Rohr should give Etebo the kind of freedom he gave Aribo and we know which partnership is better .

Players are played according to their strengths

Aribo is creative and attacks the box that's why he's given a free role

While Etebo is neither, that's why he's assigned to help Ndidi in defensive duties
