It would be wise for Iran to avoid a direct confrontation on US forces. America has the means and has shown the country is willing to attack Iran.

Strange that Iranian Militias are operating openly in Iraq, they show no respect towards their sovereignty - anyway Iraq became the playground for everyone in middle east. But this situation can be a gift for Trump and the upcoming elections. His foreign policy so far is unsuccessful and his behavior awkward and sometimes not rational (trade war with China, Peace talks with North Korea, upsets his NATO allies several times....you name it!). A conflict with Iran could even help him to gain a better standing.

Iran should be wise to avoid a conflict with the US. It's in her best interest.

SDB3 is the only ship under construction there the rest are undergoing refit.

Iran has very good defensive capabilities, in offense how much offensive equipment can they actually buy? They'll need to invest billions if dollars over a large number of years to have any decent offensive capability.

There are no equipments waiting for them to just purchase off the shelf.

They can defend themselves very well, but it would be very tough against the US.
