Hi. I am planning to buy Acura MDX 06 or 07 and I have the money ready. I have also read a lot abt the SUV on nairaland and my mind is made up on it.
However, I need advice on what I should look for on these cars so that I won't enter one chance.
Finally, how much is a reasonable price for these models. I have around 2.5million for this project

I JUST SOLD MINE, pls I beg you, do not buy it.

It is a NICE car but the money you will spend on on part or servicing, would make you hate it

Get a Toyota highlander or Honda pilot 2010

Not on that 2.5 million budget.

Get the car. Use a competent mechanic. Change fluids with recommended fluids when due. It has a maintenance minder. Follow it religiously.
Perform the ATF radiator bypass after you purchase the vehicle. Gazzuzz should be able to handle that if you are in Lagos. Enjoy the car.
Don't forget the timing belt and water pump when due as well

Does not age gracefully.

A Lexus rx330 or. 2005.6.7 Highlander are more reliable brands.

How far, when you say a car doesn't age gracefully are you referring to the outward appearance?

I am not Gazzuzz but yes, that is what he meant. The body panels develop weird contours after a few years. Just like Honda city and the second model of Honda CRV.
They don't look good after a few years on our roads.
