Only a stupid Nigerian will send money into the trust fund orchestrated by a tribal bigot. Ethiopia is way ahead of us in terms of IQ, unity & development. Diasporans aren't allowed to vote but u want the money they send to help their loved one is the world poverty capital, then when they have issues in their host countries you pretend you don't know and can send aid to them. Can 2023 pls just come? |

kettykings:Even when the rate of return exceeds US Treasury Bill's, the bond is foreign currency denominated and is a first charge on FGN outgoings? You must be joking mate! |

I am glad to see that there are Nigerians in the diaspora who want to help build the country by pooling their resources. This is a great idea! |

Every region/ethnicity should have their own diaspora trust fund! Otherwise they may discover their invested funds is shared the way present Nigeria commonwealth is shared....where some who contribute little greedily grab the most due to their control of the centre! |

kettykings:Not just Igbos....any southerner that invests in this rubbish is very daft! Invest and watch them take a large chunk of your investment to Daura and Maradi in Niger republic! |

We igbos will continue to espouse our "aku lue uno" philosophy. Not invest in a diaspora fund that will take money from us and then go and invest it in Katsina |
| Re: Diaspora Trust Fund Underway – Dabiri-erewa by four44: 10:59am On Jan 06, 2020 |

| Re: Diaspora Trust Fund Underway – Dabiri-erewa by kettykings: 11:49am On Jan 06, 2020 |
joepepsy:It can never succeed. Igbos should have a south east diaspora fund. 97% should do their thing seperate. This is a country that is finding it very difficult to even give Igbo appointment ,level playing grounding not yo talk of vote Igbo for 2023 |

Stop these appointments shit,a region that will succeed would've done so with what they have.until you stop blaming the yorubas and fulani then you can look inward. kettykings: |

joepepsy:Precisely that is exactly what I am asking igbos to do, to forget this federal government proposed diaspora fund and look inwards |
| Re: Diaspora Trust Fund Underway – Dabiri-erewa by knowledgeable: 1:46pm On Jan 06, 2020 |
kettykings:Massive Igbo migrations out of Nigeria which occurred during 80s and 90s were all rooted in oppressive & marginalisation policies of Nigerian government towards the Igbos. Under Shagari government, a new federal Minister of education professor Jubril Amino enforced the Jamb cut off marks(around 1979 or there about), saw the first wave of massive migration of Igbos and others of of the country. Oppression and marginalisation of Igbos continues till today and so is the migration. Can anybody argue against that Igbos represent about 70% of remittance inflows into the Nigeria economy today?, while the cabals that have been ruling Nigeria represent about 70% of wasted/corrupt net outflow of Nigeria wealth into foreign banks?. South Eastern governors must approach this new diasporan bond carefully or we will be outsmarted again by the Yorubas with the backing of the North. |

Igbos need to have their own separate diaspora fund. Simple Then use the money to match all the needed infrastructures denied to Igboland. |
| Re: Diaspora Trust Fund Underway – Dabiri-erewa by CsRockefeller(m): 2:00pm On Jan 06, 2020 |
Let's see how it plays out, especially since we know Igbos contribute more than 50% of Diaspora population. |

There's nothing wrong if the Igbos take advantage of the funds,no nation or people can survive alone. kettykings: |
