The Witcher 9/10

The Witcher kicked off with a strong first season. The cast was spectacular. Extra points to Cavill for nailing the character of Geralt. Freya Allan has a lot of potential and I expect great things from her in the future.
The separate narratives & timelines approach to the storytelling was ingenious. It was the only way the story wouldn't have been boring and pedestrian. And the showrunners pulled it off quite well. The character progressions were smooth and engaging, though I found Yennefer's motives and attitude annoying.
The finale ended up leaving me with a lot more questions than I started with. And it's a bit frustrating when you consider that the second season isn't until next year.
But I do hope they continue to employ this unique style of storytelling for as long as possible. And I hope I somehow get to see more of Queen Calanthe in the next season.
BTW, Tissaia is sugar mummy goals, sha.

Truth is a vampire has to be invited in. He cannot just walk into the house.

Twas so in originals and vampire diaries. Except the owner is dead. They need permission.

Its common lore among vampire stories

He is telling you the truth.
The originals are the Masters of all vampires on Earth and in history, they are the first and the most powerful vampires on Earth.
There is a reason why it's called The originals. (Rip to Klaus and Elijah)
It's painful and sad that the writers had to kill the series with lack of ideas.

They should have given it to HBO or Netflix.

Because there were so much potentials from the original families and the entire casts.

Now back to your question.

Go and watch True blood.

There are no vampire series out there greater than the originals or True blood.

The Witcher 9/10

People giving it low rating has no idea what a great series is.

You do not need a prophet to tell you that it will get to probably season 5 or more.

The potentials and storyline is enomous and promising.

The season one is only the beginning and it has the ability to dethrone the game of thrones.

Damm i love the songs.
Toas a coin to the Witcher.

I liked the climax in the final episode. It's been very long I watched a show of this type. My favorite character was Mitch

- The bolded statement has been misused since 2018 and looks like that trend won't be ending this year.
- Why shouldn't it be compared to GOT? They're both fantasy shows with political themes.
- What tempo did the first episode have that wasn't maintained?
- What was wack about Geralt and Ciri's meeting? Lemme guess, you were expecting Ciri to be in danger, then Geralt swoops in on Roach, saves her and says, "Come with me if you want to live." Does that sound better?

The series is wacked, you and I know that, even Netflix knows it. There is no need for any justification, it doesn't even worth to be in the same sentence as GOT.
There are thousands of fantasy and political series out there, does that mean they should be compared to GOT.

go and watch NETFLIX CASTLEVANIA

And see how powerful DRACULA is, all these original 'series' vampires can't even match up to Dracula's son ALUCARD

KLAUS AND ELIJAH is just minor vampires.
