Go and secure a job or learn a payable skill, then after which you enrol into a part-time program. Of course, meandering through this route will entail you having to change your course of study. Life is just like computer with short-cut or alternative route that navigates us to our ultimate destination.

Get a degree in SLT, then apply through direct entry. Make use of your opportunity and think outside the box. Also, your view about life changes as you advance in age. You can also advance your studies in SLT. Research and studies now are interdisciplinary. It is only in Nigeria that all these things are like this, because what we do is obsolete, and this has beclouded so many people. The only good you can do yourself is to graduate with an outstanding result, Get a lot of information about scholarships, then apply for scholarships outside Africa...... Do not let your Naija environment becloud you.... Goodluck.

Bros, don't ever give up. It will be frustrating, trust me I know. Change your approach to reading. Pick subjects combination you can pass effortlessly. Avoid subjects that will choke you up. While waiting, find something doing. Never too hell bent on money for now. That almost made me not to wanna go to school again. Avoid outdated syllabuses because what you learnt 5years isn't the perfect same now. Read everyday (at least 3hours). Be prayerful and God will answer your prayer. Smile padi, delay is not denial. Take it from a guy that it took 7years before being offered admission. Now, I am a graduate in one of the varsities.

You are really a source of inspiration. Your words really motivate me .

Bless your heart.

Who pharmacy help?! Not even a sweet course like bioengineering.

Instead of you to read and have a distinction so you can easily cross into the university, you're there acting like a 17yr old.

Hello @all

In other not to bore u all with long talks I will be brief.

I left secondary sch in 2016 and ever since I've been trying my luck to get in pharmacy school.

I've written jamb four times, over the years I've applied

Delsu, Abu, Delsu, and Udus

I don't consider myself as a brilliant student but I am above average.

Although I am currently studying S.L.T but i am not and never satisfied with the course.. infact I don't even pay attention in class and I hardly attend class all I think of is pharmacy

it's affecting my life.. now I don't even Know how to proceed with my life.

Mods pls I need your help
So, why did you accept the SLT (A course people are praying for) ?
You should have sit at home nau.

The fact is, YOU ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO BE OFFERED PHARMACY! You dont deserve it!!!!!!
Stop wasting your time wishing otherwise, just develop yourself to the standard you can be considered for pharmacy.
IF you continue like this, in the end, na u go lose both ways
BAD GRADES IN SLT AND NO OFFER OF ADMISSION TO PHARMACY

You don't know what depression is.

I left secondary school in 2004 and wrote JAMB 5 times until I got admission to study Medicine.
By that time,my age mates were in final year or preparing for NYSC.
They moved on and stopped associating with me.
Today,I'm a medical doctor.
I live and work in the UK.

So ....Give it another try.
This time...Be more strategic.

Which kain help you con need? Is it only via Jamb that you can study pharmacy?

Your case is a minor one.

You are already in school, so why bordering yourself, thank God for the levels at which you are at the moment.

A lot of people are praying to be where you are.

My advice to you is;

Stop applying JAMB
Focus on the one you have at hand
After your HND you can do your PGd/ masters in pharmacy

I am a graduate and already working. I wrote JAMB once and gained admission with it. I was a lazy student because of this and graduated just above average. I am saying this because people who suffer before they get something are usually very good students. You should take advantage of this learning curve!

Recently I was chatting with my younger brother's classmate who wrote jamb 4 times too until she recently gained admission to study Pharmacy at UDUSOK. She too studied SLT like you. She said she read like a mad person to get her 275 score.
You have to be strategic with the university you're picking too and overhaul your studying habits. You cannot want to study pharmacy and still be saying that "I don't consider myself a brilliant student". You need to put in the work by hours and hours of study time. You need to focus on your weak areas until you are very strong in it. You need the patience to spend up to 10 hours on a topic before you can understand it very well. You need to buy textbooks. Not just anyhow textbooks but the right ones. Then invest in past questions. Don't just cram the answers, understand how to get the answers. I know someone who wrote jamb 5 times and finally gained admission with 295 to study medicine. He is currently in the army earning 300k per month.
What you have to do is sit down, draw up a time table dedicate at least 8 hours per day between now and March. Sit for the mock, buy preparation apps, read and understand the textbooks. I believe that you can do this. I don't know you but I just feel like something good is about to happen to you very soon.

My frnd don't kill urself because of admission, we're all working in our time zone, some might be fast while some might be slow but dat doesn't make them better than you, just be focus nd put your ur mind in what u're currently during, always remb wat d bible says "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death" there's a reason for everything thing just be focus nd go for whatever day makes you happy. i laugh wen i hear hw depressed some people are because of admission into d university, wen we have millions of graduates out there still in search of jobs even years after they've graduated.
well since u completed ur sec sch, have u acquired any meaningful skill that can help u forge ahead in dis hard time?
a nephew of mine who acquired a skill in welding, iron bending nd also a pro painter.. He learnt all these immediatly he was done wit sec sch after his first attempt in jamb which was in 2014. now he's 25 nd has a toyota camry nd living in a 2bedroom rented apartment since d beginging of 2018 all 2 himself.
infact he registered his company wit CAC last year march nd has a workshop to himself wit boys who are under him... nd each time i bring up d issue of going further into higher institution he'll smile nd tell me aunty no nid abeg..although nw he's planing to enroll for a partime program in NOUN.
so OP its never 2 late to turn ur depression into sumtin meaningful...

That your nephew is smart.

It is good to be ambitious and your dream is not over until you give up.
JAMB is not the only route to get into a University to study your desired course .
There are other Post Sec Sch courses like A levels, IJMBs , Dploma courses,ICAN/ATS, e.t.c
You are fortunate to have started a course on SLT but it is sad that you are not giving it your all.
The goal is the end, and whatever you are doing now is a means to the end.
The course is somehow related to what you desire at the end. If you loose enthusiasm now, somehow , you are hurting yourself the more.
If i were you, what I would have done to to get engage in a course that will get me a direct entry admission ,excel in that course while trying JAMB again.
Pls sit up at your SLT course n excel .If you say, you are brilliant by aspiring to go for a pharmacy course, why can you be exceptional while undergoing the one you have.
On a final note,do a critical review and in-depth and analysis of where the problem is with JAMB and overcome it. If you need help, seek one.
It is well with you.
