Come to the east and witness's first hand the multi billion naira enterprise enacted at the various checkpoints here. It has become very disgusting watching these guys including the police collecting money with reckless abandon. You can even get change from them if you wish. Our police at the checkpoints make me wanna puke with their shameless extortion. I wish Al Jazeera will come and make a documentary of this. I will gladly be part of it.

Same old pattern. Even commissioner of police would say he is not aware his boys extort money from commuters. Meanwhile, he has his share from the loot.

F**k up how? Sey na lie or na Wetin?
If you’re a soldier just know sey una don cast cast for this country.
I could have sworn soldiers will never join NPF in their rubbish.
It’s only someone who doesn’t travel often that will argue this.

Drivers are made to park and come down from their vehicles to settle, who are we deceiving?!

Sometimes a civilian tout is made to collect the money on their behalf but that format don cast.

Abeg abeg abeg!

See talk from the spokesman! Public outcry could be counterproductive? For real? So he should have come like Nicodemus right? These people sef. Perception is important but when something is rotten, it has to be seen as such. My guess is this is taken serious now cos it's a governor. Has anything been done to the recruits in the self-posted video calling civilians 'bastards' who can do nothing as they kept them waiting for no reason in a show of power? It's just sad the standard has fallen. It used to be an elitist, self respecting and professional calling until indiscipline became order if the day.

They didn't even have any evidence to back up the extortion claim. No picture ntin whatsoever. I guess the governor is just tryna catch fun.

The governor will come and go but the army remains forever
