Who's gonna listen to what you and i have to say? lol, that's what i meant. Your own Govt doesn't care what you have to say, let alone global powers
I agree, but nothing wrong in having a debate. Should we talk street football instead?

Nigerian Navy Special Forces rescue kidnapped foreign sailors, arrest one suspect after 3 hours gun battle.

Special troops of the Nigerian Navy on Tuesday night 7th and early hours of Wednesday 8th January engaged sea pirates who kidnapped foreign sailors in Bayelsa state in a marathon gun battle and rescued three of them while arresting one of the pirates.

Recall that these same pirates in perpetuating the kidnapping act killed four Nigerian Navy ratings.

It was gathered that personnel of the Forward Operations Base (FOB) Igbokoda at its Awoye outpost had been laying siege since the incident of the attack and killing of the naval personnel at Agge in Bayelsa state

Having received intelligence at about 11pm, of an approaching speed boat suspected to be carrying kidnappers and victims of kidnapping, the naval Special Forces were deployed in some gunboats to the entrance of the Sea.

On sighting the naval gunboats, the kidnappers opened a volume of bullets on the navy.

It was however gathered that the naval forces in a tactical manoeuvre, not to hurt the kidnapped victims, trailed the suspects who beach landed at a nearby creek and fled into the bush.

Thereafter, the general environment was combed with support of community youths and backup of naval personnel from Idi-Ogba and Abereke outpost.

Consequently, one of the suspect named Martins Egenuvhe from Olopa Community in Bayelsa state was arrested with a rifle.

After some hours, three (3) of the foreign nationals were rescued and have been evacuated to naval base for further investigation.

We seem to know nothing about "Best Practice" .
If your job is to detain suspect, have zip ties, or handcuffs in hand, that seems to be a rare thing in Nigeria or what, not supporting criminals, but right there, is an abuse, shouldn't be happening, it's part of being an adequately trained professional

have you seen a Nigerian paramiltary force arrest people in this manner? No.the duty of the police is to detain or restrain suspects in handcuffs or other civil way. military is military, you don't go to battles with handcuffs, hoping to catch criminals.its crazy. There's no abuse there, if you were one of those kidnapped, I bet you wouldn't say that.

We need to strengthen Police and MOPOL to carry out more internal security tasks without the support of the army - the NA is overstretched with tasks they are not trained and actually not mandated for.

This is not a police operation. How many times have you seen US marines with hand cuffs?

A South African Air Force (SAAF) C-130BZ has crashed at Goma airport in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Details still uncertain.

South-African Air Force C-130s have an average age of 57 years.

Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by kabe1: 3:09pm On Jan 09, 2020
Thankfully the crew and passengers of the 57 years old plane are safe.

The South-African air force flies some of the worlds oldest aircrafts.

Re: African Militaries/ Security Services Strictly Photos Only And Videos Thread by kabe1: 3:11pm On Jan 09, 2020
The South-African Air Force has 6 C-130s in service with 1 or 2 aircrafts available at any given time.

This man self, you are telling you don't know why a potential terror suspect is blindfolded? And you really wanna compare this to tying down a human being to a stick while stripped down, in the most uncomfortable way possible? really? Enough said, you are right, ours are the best and most professional, no point debating this, if you can't see the difference, i can't help ya

ah, forgot, you are the racist guy, never bothered to catch your username.
Slavery was part of human history, every corner of the globe, Africans were never the only people enslaved, don't be stuck in the past.
Those you are hating today aren't responsible for that slavery, better yourself and don't carry hate around, only hurting yourself in that case
