CASE STUDY : Tiwa Savage & Beyonce One thing that affects every female artiste worldwide is based on the issue of settling down to raise a family.. It's either u face raising a family and letting go of some habits and manners which may reduce your vibe as a female artiste OR Keep that vibes like the sexy dressing, attachments with male celebrities and all that.. BEYONCE: Since Beyonce started focusing on childbirth and building that family with JayZ, she had let go of many vibes, if u want to understand better, compare Beyonce of 2004 to Beyonce of 2020.. she still sings same music but once u as a female artiste stop some lifestyle to focus on raising a family, it would really have a long way to go on ur reign because u tend to have limited fans, they know u don't want ur image tarnished as a married woman TIWA SAVAGE: Immediately she gave birth to Jamal, Tiwa vibes was dropping because lot of male admirers were giving up because they know she was going to focus on building a family and living as a married woman.. but Tiwa understands the music business, she needs more attention from men and she wants to mingle more to spice up her career.. Thereby she needs to come up with being a single mom.. who can do anything she wants.. so she can date and mingle with anyone and it wouldn't look like she's cheating but if she stays being married , she wouldn't dare it So as a female artiste. U get to choose.. if u observe too in the film industry. The actresses gets more limelight when they get more and more attention from the male folks unlike the married ones, the attention drops because the actress wouldn't want to be caught cheating |

It's easy to attribute their lack of motivation to the absence of the much desired collaboration amongst them. But the truth is, we aren't making it any easy for the female folks to stay in the industry. We label them prostitutes and call them all sorts of name and, like it or not, these things affect their personal lives. It would take a real IDGF/Bobrisky attitude for a lady to survive in the Nigerian entertainment industry and that's what the likes of Tiwa have got going for them. |

Despite all this their feminist talks they still know that 'the pride of a woman is having a husband' . 'Some' of them made their money/mark and went to face other careers, as they never intended to stay for too long, don't blame them. There are so many reasons why they are no longer here: from a failed musical career to a change of career- Parenting- Health reasons- Personal Decision- Privacy- and also Marital/Relationship commitments. Dear OP, or whoever wrote this piece, your thoughts are genuine and noteworthy but I believe we should respect peoples choice and not force ours on them. I totally support them cooperating with one another however. |

tstx:You were making sense till you got to the bolded. Abegi.....Nigerian Men hate themselves more. We need to start creating awareness for these! Women hating themselves is nothing compared to men hatred for themselves. Forget the fake love we show ourselves. Only those who are very observant will understand me. Anyway, as for these ladies fading out, its not because of lack of collaboration, it has everything to do with TIME. Their time has passed! While some who still sing (waje, omawunmi) refused to blend with the modern young artistes. And let's not forget FINANCE. Remember waje made a video complaining last year. It was here on nairaland sef. As for Cynthia Morgan, i saw her on Hiptv show called "Trending" late last year saying she is coming back. Till now I never see the 'come back' o! |

emmabest2000:Silly. So wizkid made her Mavin first lady & then gave her a recording deal with Universal music in the US?? Their marketing strategy was useful to both of them & expanded their fanbase. Flavor & chidinma are trying to do the same thing. |

Time has caught up with them. Fame is like iron, it doesn't stay floating on water for long. It will always go down. The only difference is time BTW, all those people bantering women should stop. Attaching yourselves to the morally decayed ones doesn't mean that all women are decayed. Women are getting stronger these days but you won't see that if you focus on the oloshos. |
