Bro, we are both just brainstorming.
I can't categorically vouch for it, but by all reasoning, it should.
In any case, have the possibility of failing at the back of your mind. BUT I CAN'T SEE WHY IT CAN'T WORK

The ehailing apps work with the phone's GPS to calculate the distance covered and estimate your fares.

So, yes you need a phone with good gps to work.

In addition, GPS device only recognizes coordinates and not address

Absolutely not true, uber pays to any account provided you have a TIN but if you don’t have you can make use of anyone that has. Though I don’t know the benefit or danger using someone else TIN.

Good luck!

the system has Google maps and I believe if the app is installed, it should work normally.

You may just get the car GPS device for navigation or for occasional use to get requests in the case you are staying in the car. But know that as 1daboi opined, you will need to step out of the car to get requests most times, and your phone comes handy these times.

The device is something to try, it will be interesting. So I will not discourage you. You just want to challenge and change the status quo which is exciting.

I want to believe you have a small phone which suits the uber requirement which you can fall back on in the case of IF.

Tell me why please, I would like to know.

You gave the options of Nissan Sentra, Coro and Mazda.

As a driver, you want a car which is reliable, strong, relatively cheap maintenance/spare parts and ultimately fuel economy. Only Coro is the best to consider from that options.

Fuel economy is an important factor to consider so that u also can have money to yourself after the weekly remittance.

Infact corolla is the thought to be the best car for the job and that explains why it has flooded everywhere.

Civic 03-05 is probably the only rival to corolla, which some even believe is better than corolla in fuel economy and cost of maintenance but not as strong.

Good morning.

Don't let this trouble you.
It's your speed sensor, locate it, follow the wires, rats might have cut it, you don't need any electrician it's a DIY.
I'm busy now I would've tell you the location of this sensor. Some cars have it on the transmission.

I had issue with my car. When driving it will throw the car into limp mode, abs, traction went off. I tried everything it didn't stop.

Took it for a scan at Dunlop close to Lekki central mosque, the computer shows bank 1, 3, etc. can't recall all.
The bill they gave me for the repairs was scary, including injector, fuel pump, abs (most of these companies na scam).

I went back home so sad, spend the whole night online researching. I later realized it's a global problem (2015 4Runner) rat cut my nozzle wires. I put on my coverall the next morning, pull out my tools box, open my engine bay, low and behold rats converted my engine to their palace, feces everywhere. I had difficulty identifying my firing order, I went online again, printed the firing order diagram, came back, Locate cylinder 1, aka bank one, trace the nozzle cable, gbam rat don chop am. I unplugged it, join it, insulate it properly, then connect it back, do same to bank 3. I used that opportunity to replace all my plugs and service the nozzles.

Start the car, everything went normal. I drove to freedom way for a test run and it gave me what I wanted.
Went back to Dunlop, rescan the car and it was perfect, put it in their car wash, they wash the engine bay as well. From there I proceeded to circle mall, buy rat repellant and do the needful.
I went home happily without spending a dime.

Their bill was far above half a million.

You just have to learn how to do most of these things. The only thing I pay for now is alignment and balancing @petrocam.

My engine oil and oil filter I change alone. The transmission have no dip stick, you need alent key, I do it alone.

It will help you if you can
thanks for the info. I have fixed the abs sensor and the speedometer is now working but the abs light and the brake light are still on. I scan it and got open or short hydraulic brake soleniod circuit. Is der anything i can do to fix it myself
