It is a normal thing with rich Igbos; developing their respective communities by themselves.

People need to visit Igbo communities and see how Igbos have turned Igbo communities and remote areas around on their own without any government assistance.

In my community, my family built road, built civic hall, and runs a yearly scholarship for all secondary school leavers to sponsor the selected candidates throughout their university.

Some other families constructed new Church, some renovated the community market and built lockup shops, while some donated borehole water to our community.

On my own, I am planning to expand our family scholarship program as God blesses me more with time.

That's why I laugh at them when they try to ridicule or look down on Igbos, because I know that against all odds, Igbos are the only tribe in Nigeria that don't wait for government to develop their region because they know government don't care about them.
