Can the window frames be installed with the burglary proof without the window glasses? Then the glasses installed later...
yes sir, but in that case we are do it together and remove it, then put it later, but they must put before window design, and one more thing it will be more stress if it's up stairs,

For imported Suspended PoP, I got quote of 3,300 per sqm.

The argument was that no need painting it over time, unlike the normal PoP you've to paint every 3-5 years.

You have another option, which is polystyrene ceiling. I learned that is better than the 2 option you are considering but let the experts in the house advice us because I am contemplating doing it for my project.

Why are you so much bothered about fire? is the structure not residential? Just apply the fire preventive economical measures and you are good to go.

Please can assist with the no of block required to complete do this.

Can we use 6 inch block for the room partitioning and use 9 inch block for the external walls alone.

Hello good people,
I need your advice on this please. I have a project that is at the plastering stage but my engineer said there is no need to plaster Bathroom, Toilet and Kitchen as because it will be covered by Tiles.
I do not think this is right but I might be wrong and I need your advice please.
God bless you and thanks for your contributions

the bricklayer can apply the plastering sand but he doesn't need to smoothen it like the way they smoothen the rooms and external walls..

If you are going to tile from ceiling to floor, you don't need to plaster. The tiler will take care of the rest. Your engineer is right.

You will be surprise! I contacted two reputable engineers on this forum for such a quote on plastering a 5 bedroom duplex with 2 _3 bedroom flats at the back, and I got a quote of 2million and 3million respectively, just for labor!!

I am not surprise because they think money grow from tree
just tell him to justify it cost
by using my analysis on rooms
I sent a dude that think he was a smart fool to give me measurement for a friend I was help out
for three shop tiles work
he came with 85 meter
My questions was standard flat floor is about 120 meter
how did u get 85 meter, I said stop playing with me
sent other good dude over there he came with 58 meter
after the job was done there was four carton left over
