how can you say such thing? Are you God that gives children? I have heard of a nanny that flung a child to the wall cos she cried too much, so many instances. Not that I'm trying to exonerate the maid, never! I have children of my own, but it takes God's grace not to do something you'll regret when these kids start their wahala. The maid is too young to understand things about motherhood and how to care for babies when they begin to throw tantrums. May she rest in peace

I can attest to this. I remember when my wife was used to leaving house before 7am because her place of work was far, very far. I was the one who was taking our first daughter to school, age two. There was a day among many days of frustrating my life, that day she refused to wear "sweater" out of about 6 I brought her. She kept saying big one. I didn't know she was referring to the one belonged to her mother, imagine that. She wouldn't pick one, she wouldn't move, crying crying crying. I got annoyed..................
Anyway, with her, I learnt that to be with the kids, you need to be extra patient.

Why can't both husband and wife work together in taking care of the kids? As long as both of them work and contribute financially to the running of the home, both should contribute to the domestic aspect as well. Last time I checked, women don't work shorter hours than men, they resume and close at same time. So how how do you expect her to raise the kid without help?

Evil is always lurking around the corner! NEVER, I repeat, NEVER entrust the life of a child in the hands of a stranger.

Child bearing isn't for showing off alone and comes with lots of responsibilities. If you ain't ready to shoulder those responsibilities, then don't birth a child. Your child deserves your absolute love, care, guidance and protection. And if you can't give her that, then you have no business in being a parent.
