Playing for Riteraia of Lithuania right? A move he made after camp had opened right?
Where were the other players playing. It is not as if we had a slew of top talents. Many of those that played for big clubs were dropped.

You mean Aigbogun free for all camp that players were trooping in days to the tournament.

Where was the top striker playing?

I would rather pick an academy player from Nigeria than a player declared surplus to requirements at a giant club like the Kauno Zalgiris of the almighty Lithuania
That's why you are not a coach

I simply gave you an example of a player who was not invited and has progressed just as you asked.

I feel Osaze could have made that under 20 side that was so obviously bereft of quality.

If Tijani was not the striker we ended up with, the argument against Moffi would be valid.
Wouldn't u have kicked against the invitation of an inactive Osaze, just the way u prolly did that of Nwakali?

Osaze was released in the May 2019. The same month of the tournament. He was not inactive as he played with the youth team.

Hull City and Swansea City are among Championship clubs interested in signing Chelsea starlet Tariq Uwakwe, according to the Mirror UK.

The left-footed midfielder of Nigerian descent continues to be linked with a temporary departure from Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window, and Derby County have also been credited with an interest.

Uwakwe is eager to move out on loan to enable him get the chance to play first team football, which Chelsea have not offered him for now.

International players such as N'Golo Kanté, Ross Barkley, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Mateo Kovačić and Jorginho are ahead of him in the pecking order of midfielders at The Blues and he has yet to make his first team debut.

Uwakwe has a contract with Chelsea until the end of the 2021-2022 season, having renewed his contract in the summer and is now in his 12th season with the capital club.

The 20-year-old opened his Chelsea account this term as the U23 team defeated Manchester City 2-1 in the Premier League 2 on Saturday, January 11.

Uwakwe has played non-binding games for England U18, U19 and U20 national teams.

This kid was in camp and was not as inactive as suggested. He played for Wimbledon under 23 and even started some games.

Again what were those selected over him doing??

HULL have emerged as the leading contenders in the race to sign Chelsea youngster Tariq Uwakwe.

Derby had been chasing the young midfielder, 20, who the Blues have decided can spend the next 18 months on loan away from Stamford Bridge.

Hull are leading the race to sign Tariq Uwakwe on loan

Swansea have also been showing an interest in the midfielder having signed Chelsea team-mate Marc Guehi on similar terms last week.

But Championship rivals Hull have shown the strongest interest and hope to tie up a deal this week.

Uwakwe signed a new three-year deal at Stamford Bridge last summer and is tipped to be another academy product to move into the first-team under Frank Lampard.

He has played seven times in Premier League 2 this season - helping the Under-23s reach the top of the table.

The England Under-20 youth international also started in the 3-2 win away at Swindon in the EFL Trophy in August.

This term, Uwakwe has played on both the right and left of midfield, as well as in a No10 role.

Uwakwe was chased by West Brom last year, but rejected the Baggies' proposal after they wanted a loan move with an option to buy.

Blues assistant manager Jody Morris is a big fan of the midfielder, with the youngster winning the FA Youth Cup under his tutelage.

A none regular for the Wimbledon U23s, yet u are complaining over the selections of those who made it ahead of him? Was his case any better than those of the selected players?

It is a youth competition. What was quality of the side we took to the world cup?

If we had a strong under 20 team, that would be understandable but our side was the weakest in years. The fact that he was in camp and dropped suggests someone missed a trick.

The u20 world youth championship is for young professionals not academy players. That said, Osaze was never in camp

The same way, you suggested he was not in Imama's camp.

He was in both Imama and Aigbigun's camp. Several players passed through that Aigbogun's camp.

He could be an EquitoGuinean since most our kins who sojourned to Panya never returned, instead they carved themselves a niche in Fernanda Po, and made the Igbo language a local language, hence still retain their Igbo culture and names, though most of them can no longer retrace their kins in the south eastern Nigeria, otherwise, how else could a Spanish bear Uche?

I repeat, stop misleading people, he was never dropped unjustly by Imama, the kid even cleared the air here;

ChrisKels:
Before some misguided fellows come here to claim he was dropped by Imama bkus of egunje:

Osaze Uroghide - “When I went to the Nigerian camp, it was a nice experience,” he recounted.

“Coach Imama Amapakabo has a lot of experience in coaching obviously with the Super Eagles and the Nigerian Professional Football League.

“The training was very intense when I went there but unfortunately, I didn’t get to play in the games, I went home early because I fell ill.

“Hopefully, next time I can show coach Imama I deserve a place in the starting eleven.

“I will continue to work hard to get back into the national team. Hopefully I can get my first cap.

“I will be looking forward to that and the work never stops.”
