Me: I'm going for my masters degree in community Health and preventative medicine at the Minnesota state university,Mankato.

Me: I applied to two others: Tuskegee Uni, Alabama, Ohio state Uni, Columbus.
VO: How did you learn about MNSU?
Me: I carried out a personal research about MNSU after I heard about the school at an Educational fair held in Lagos and their entry requirements matched my profile.
VO: what will this course do for you?
Me: A masters degree in comm health from a recognised institution like MNSU in the US will increase my chance of clinching a Head position in the public health department of my organisation in Nigeria.Also, having being equipped with an indept knowledge in public health and with recent epidemiological tools/methodology, I will be able to work with Govt health institutions and NGO'S in providing comprehensive Health care Services to reduce the health burden in endemic and endemic-prone e.g (IDPs) communities in Nigeria.
VO: why MNSU?
Me: Asides the fact that I have full Graduate assistanship with tuition waiver and Stipend,the comm health program of the MNSU has a comprehensive curriculum, and with a concentration in epidemiology which focuses on solving critical disease related challenges, analysis of trends in population health, design and implementation of studies, and interpretation of results for Health policy and program development.
VO: what's your study plan?
Me:It is a 34 credit course work, and will be taking courses in Epidemiology, Biostatistics Health care planning and Evaluation..etc and a minimum of 2.5/4.0 is required for my graduation.
VO: what are your plans after graduation?
Me: I plan to come back to Nigeria and use the knowledge and experience garnered in MNSU to advance in my health career and through my organisation contribute my quota in improving the health sector in Nigeria by working with the federal or state ministries of Health,UNICEF and other NGOs.
VO: Did u write any standardized tests?
ME: Yes, TOEFL

ME:I did a one year compulsory internship @XYZ hospital and afterwards did my one year compulsory NYSC afterwards started working at xyz Hospital till present.

ME: My uncle, and I also have my personal savings to cater for the deficit.
VO:What does he do?
Me: He is the CEO of XYZ plastic Industry.

I told him I don't have sure amount for the visa, he said I should bring my passport and 4 passport photograph and a shorty of level 10 in federal civil service that they will help me get a visa when I reach I will pay them 2.5m. Canada process is straightforward... go to the site and calculate your points. If you have enough points then you can apply (you dont need an agent).... if you dont have enough point then no amount of paying agency will get you the work permit.

That a free advice I just gave you. Your money will disappear into thin air with different remix version on the holdup, until you give up

The Us embassy always create a weekly lesson class for student who wanna study abroad, this lesson start from January and end February
No need of agent, the consulars will guide you, after d class you will be given approximately 6month to learn a Hand-skill then you will be called for interview.

Guys, I'm in a bit of a dilemma now, I initially thought I would be considered for admission with a student copy of my transcript, but SD mines said they need an official copy sent to them which will cost me about 40k.
Now pvamu would need a copy to but after being evaluated which will cost me about $170 plus whatever the cost uniport will charge to send to spantran the evaluating company.
I'm yet to hear from csu long beach, but I fear they might need an official copy sent to them as well.. Another 40k!

Am I doing this right? Or is there a way I can send my transcript once to three institutions or bodies?

The deed has already been done in my opinion. You should have filtered for schools that would use unofficial transcripts for evaluation. I would advice you to start seeking other schools with that allowance and apply. Some schools have a deadline of March and some in July. You can still make it.

Mail the grad cord and Cook a pity story..just as u do now
Tell him u will send the official copy after the admission decision
By then u will only send one to any school of ur choice u want to attend

Tell uniport u are sending it to local area(it will be cheaper)
Then send it thru mail by yourself..
