aadoiza:I am so sorry! I'm not sure I saw your post. I'll probably look for it right now (the thread is probably cold and dead now). Truely my not responding is not intentional. And Peace be upon you too! |

aadoiza:So sorry again. I found it. aadoiza:Of course the bible is very clear on homosexuals. They will not be in paradise of God. 1Cor 6:9: "Or, do you not know that evil people will not possess God’s kingdom? Do not be misled: neither will sexually immoral people, nor idolaters, nor those who are sexually unfaithful to their mates, nor homosexual perverts.." 1Tim 1:9-10: " "We [also] know this: law [or, “the Law of Moses”] is not intended for a righteous person, but for lawbreakers and rebels, for ungodly people and sinners, for unholy and irreverent people, for people who kill their parents, for murderers," for sexually immoral people, for homosexuals, for kidnappers, for liars, and for people who give false testimony. And everything else that is against the sound teaching" Jud 1:7: "Likewise, Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities near them, which like them committed sexual sins and pursued homosexual activities, serve as an example of the punishment of eternal fire." Scriptures could not have been more clearer on this. Muttey is one of those who tries to reinterprete the bible to suit their feelings. On homosexuality, I completely and unreservedly reject his conjectures. The problem is that when a godly person mix too much with white people, if he's no careful, he'll start justifying SIN as normal. |

aadoiza:And that's why you de vex so much, and its not just been today?! Yinka, abeg, back him up. It's very important to him! |
| Re: Kwara Bans Preaching In Public Schools by aadoiza: 5:44pm On Jan 17, 2020 |
shadeyinka:Well, I thought these verses were clear enough and gives no room for mis(re)interpretations. At the emboldened, it's what some Muslims are trying to limit but are going about it in the most extreme ways. |

budaatum:C'mon buda, me dey vex on a faceless forum? Haba! No be everybody dey carry emotions for here o. |
| Re: Kwara Bans Preaching In Public Schools by budaatum: 5:58pm On Jan 17, 2020 |
aadoiza:You do surprise me with what seems like your emotions sometimes. Some of your posts lately drip of it in fact while at the same time being designed to provoke emotions, which they do in me as I shake my head in sorrow at what seems like an inabillity to converse intelligently and with maturity. Then I remind myself that we are all maturing here and I become amused. I doubt you and I have ever discussed intelligently, and look forward to the day when emotions would not get in your way. |

shadeyinka:White people have seen the errors of justifying their bigotry and prejudices with "God said" when the truth is they themselves wrote what they want God to say, a realisation which went on to empower them to write better 'Bibles'. In one of their new one's, it is declared that it is against the law to discriminate against anyone because of age, gender reassignment, being married or in a civil partnership, being pregnant or on maternity leave, disability, race including colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation. They are basically saying "go and remove the judgemental forest in your own eyes that stops you loving your neighbours instead of concerning yourself with the twig you don't love in your neighbours eyes". And going by current happenings, many of us are dying in the desert and in the sea to get to the heaven that they seem to have created for themselves. I guess we need to wait for them to bring us the newest testament as they brought us our current 'God said', but while you wait, you may read a summary of their new Bible here, or the entire book here. We too shall evolve, one day. |

budaatum:You sound like you take most of what goes on here too seriously, but not me. Me will state whatever needs stating in the most brutal way 'cos I ain't here to kowtow nobody—arse-licking is alien to my nature— nor do I seek validation from anybody. Anyone who's not ready for a brutal truth, or to be brought back to a brutal reality on certain topics, or some agenda-driven matters in pop culture should desist from quoting me on those topics for I will drop it hard from my utterly Conservative mind, not caring whose oars is goad, and move on with my life. My emotions are too big to be manifested in a virtual confine as this one. I do real emotions, only when it matters in real life. And I always eschew invectiveness, but could banter away, in my posts. However, if at some point before now I'd insulted you know that it was not intended. You may not know it, but you remain my personal person here |

aadoiza:The only weapon against liberalism is when men and women of faith show exceptional beauty of God by loving others but hating sin and unrighteousness. Unfortunately, the "light" of we who profess faith is sometimes not different from the darkness of evildoers. How can such then follow us because they see us following God? |
| Re: Kwara Bans Preaching In Public Schools by shadeyinka(m): 8:19pm On Jan 17, 2020 |
budaatum:I agree with you. Unfortunately humans as we are always swing to extremes. The same thing even in our churches: Some see God as a no-nonsense unforgiving and judgmental personality that is ready to roast anyone who breaks the minutest law for ever. And so, they make rules like no ear-rings, no trousers, separate yourself etc The other group says "since you are already saved through Christ, enjoy your limitless freedom for even your future sins are to no consequence". Give it a few more years if Christ tarries, we'll be like the whites. Especially when we don't have to pray for basic things like food, electricity and water supply. Luk 18:8b: ". ...Nevertheless when the Son of man comes, shall he find faith on the earth?" With freedom comes responsibility but responsibility seems to run contrary to freedom. Can humans really manage total freedom? |
| Re: Kwara Bans Preaching In Public Schools by budaatum: 8:43pm On Jan 17, 2020 |
shadeyinka:Yes humans can manage total freedom. We just need to fill you with lots of Jesus (the Word, Logos and understanding), and you will evolve from the lack of control muddy apes that you are into a self controlling spiritually fruitful breathed in by God human beings. |

aadoiza:I don't recall you ever insulting me, nor do I expect you to "kowtow, arse-licking or seek validation" from anybody. And yes, I do take my being here seriously. I'm here to learn and teach and always take both seriously. It's probably the reason you consider me a "personal person here". As to the truth. Its unlikely only you could have it. |

| Re: Kwara Bans Preaching In Public Schools by shadeyinka(m): 10:43pm On Jan 17, 2020 |
budaatum:Yes but only after the reset button of world is pressed. The virus of sin has eaten too much of us already. Even the light bearers light is dimming out. ..will the son of man find faith on earth? |
| Re: Kwara Bans Preaching In Public Schools by budaatum: 10:57pm On Jan 17, 2020 |
shadeyinka:Yes, the Son of Man will find faith on earth. It would just be scarce in nations that have not yet learnt 'Jesus is Love', but abundant in those which have. Besides, the Son of Man is very patient and might not arrive for 10,000 years so we have plenty of time to develop our acceptance of Christ unto our life which we've only been doing for less than 400 years while some have been at it for 1000s. Note how we are stuck at the 'believing stage' and are yet to evolve to the 'understanding age' though we think we have. Rapture, Jesus coming, being born again etc, is the reset, and each of us, contrary to expecting Christ to come bear it for you, must go make their own cross and bear it themselves. And we will, unless God is after all a liar. |
| Re: Kwara Bans Preaching In Public Schools by aadoiza: 7:05am On Jan 18, 2020 |
shadeyinka:But how do you define sin to someone with poor or no understanding of God? I have heard many people ask "what is wrong in having consensual sex with someone they love even though they are not married". They ask: "how is sport betting a sin?" when they merely commit tokens of their incomes to it. They ask: "why can I not wear whatever I'm comfortable in?" How do you make them see these and many more institutionalised depravity and spawns of liberalism are frowned upon by God? Unfortunately, the "light" of we who profess faith is sometimes not different from the darkness of evildoers. How can such then follow us because they see us following God?Exactly. |
| Re: Kwara Bans Preaching In Public Schools by shadeyinka(m): 8:24am On Jan 18, 2020 |
budaatum:The curse of sin and death has eaten too deep in the fabric of mankind. Our salvation/redemption seem to be done mainly at our operating systems kernel level. It also seems that God has given us the duty of eliminating both the virus and their effects at our application software level. As Christians we many times fail at this responsibility because it is sometimes difficult living in the spirit (for the physical is often more real to us). Rom 7:23: "But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members." In God's wisdom, He gave us the assignment of renewing our mind (with God's words) while producing fruit of LOVE for which we are rewarded by Him. Rom 12:2: "And be not conformed to this world: but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." The reset is meant to take us back to defacto standard: the exact image of Christ (body, soul and spirit). Rom 8:29: "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers." 1Cor 15:49: "And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly." Resurrection for the redeemed is the Final Reset. |

aadoiza:Sin is a defining nature. Just as a pig is by default a dirty animal that justifies filth, so is the nature of man. We find it extremely difficult to do good and what is right. Take a pig, wash it, apply perfume and keep it in Sheraton hotel. As long as there is no iota of opportunity for the pig to be dirty, it may look clean (temporarily). If this pig is allowed to go out of Sheraton and it sees stinking-muddy water in the gutter. The "cleaned" pig will wallow in this filth. The pigs excuse will be that it is feeling hot and the mud is actually cool and enjoyable and that it's action is hurting no one. The pig will always find reasons to justify filth. No amount of logic, reasoning or preaching will convince a "pig". The only exception is if God transformed the "pig nature" of a man into a "cat nature" can filth really be unjustifiable to him. One can of a truth see a dirty cat: but a dirty cat is uncomfortable and want to find the quickest opportunity to perform his "astaghfirullah" and clean up. Until we see Sin as God sees it, we don't see it as filth and contamination. People of faith have the duty however of living by example the life of God because even sometimes, the pig comes to its senses when it sees the CONTRAST between its life and that exhibiting Love, Joy, Peace, Self-control, Purity, Kindness and duty to God and man. Unfortunately, in this regard, I am not sure we have a pass mark |
