As usual, The Generals keep lying when it matters most! Unfortunately, our sad excuse of a Leader will be happy to smile underneath that cap and say " changi has come walahi" undecided Always ready to believe anything!

That said, what "AFV troop carrier/Medium weight fast modern tank" are you yapping about?
'Achievements of the Buhari led Administration' that's the jargon the they use.

How small a country is Ghana, how many soldiers has it, so how many AFVs do they need? Ghana acts like genius doing very good army weapons procurement in peace time before war comes, avoiding export embargoes and fire brigade attitude of acquisition.

Do you know who is worse in thinking than fishes in Nigeria?

The person who cannot smartly use Google and also scroll back pages on this thread, to see photos & videos of Ghana's Anniversary public show of Army strength, battalion size of brand new IFVs from China, transferred IFVs and tank destroyers from South Africa, new modern APCs with thermal night FCS weapon systems new from China, new contracts for sophisticated tanks and AFVs from Turkey-Indonesia.

The person who cannot see all that, has a brain smaller than that of fishes. Hehehehe grin
Common Sense is not common. Only dummies do comparison with selected information on one side only.

The entire Ghanaian army doesn't even have Main battle Tank and the plan doesn't even cover that.

Ghanaian airforce with no proper fighter jets ( not propeller engine) the procurement doesn't cover that too.

Let's not even talk of Ghanaian Navy.

Yes, Ghana is importing APCs but you're to dull to realize Nigeria is not just importing in larger numbers but also building APCs locally.

Nigeria is not in any way comparable to Ghanaian military.

Dummies, buying what you don't have is not necessarily mordernsation. The term Mordernsation is used when you are replacing what you have previously (Algeria, Angola, Egypt, etc. Mordernising their Airforce).

Ghana is buying what is cheap and available in modern time to fill gaps and I haven't seen anything Ghanaian army, Navy or airforce is buying that Nigeria doesn't have currently or planning to buy/build too.

That is a big difference and they are not comparable.

Sorry for being too late. I've been too busy with work for a while.
Have a summary.
LCA is a aerodynamically unstable design like F16 , gripen , f35 etc. Jf17 is a aerodynamically stable design like older 3rd generation mirage 3 , sabre , mig 21 etc

LCA has advanced safety features like auto low speed recovery (ALSR) mode which the jf17 does not have

LCA has quad redundant digital FBW which the jf17 does not have

LCA has disorientation recovery Function (DRF) which the jf17 does not have

LCA can do hot refuelling which the jf17 cannot do

LCA has quicker turnaround time than jf17

LCA has HMD which the jf17 doesn't have

Sortie generation rate of LCA is higher than jf17

These are some of the lesser known advantages of LCA over blunder, others you all can add.
Thanks much! A confirmation: is this the Tejas 1 or 2?

OPERATIONAL CAPABILITY RECEIVES BOOST AS NAF PREPARES TO INDUCT SECOND BATCH OF 2 NEW AGUSTA 109 POWER HELICOPTERS

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is set to induct the second batch of 2 new AgustaWestland 109 Power Attack Helicopters procured by the Federal Government as part of the fleet enhancement efforts to enable more effective and efficient employment of air power to tackle the security challenges facing the Nation. The 2 helicopters, along with associated equipment and spares, arrived Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport Abuja on board a Boeing 737-400 Cargolux Airline aircraft from Malpensa International Airport in Italy on 15 January 2020. They were received by a NAF Team, led by Air Commodore Halim Adebowale, as well as the Country Representative of Leonardo Helicopters, manufacturers of the aircraft. NAF engineers and technicians, in collaboration with a Team from Leonardo, have commenced assembly of the helicopters preparatory to their induction into service.

It would be recalled that the NAF had earlier received the first batch of 2 new Agusta 109 Power Helicopters that were inducted into the Service on 29 April 2019 during the 55th NAF Day Celebration in Abuja. The Service, within the last 5 years, has taken delivery of 21 brand new aircraft, including 10 Super Mushshak, 5 Mi-35M Helicopter Gunships, 2 Bell 412 Helicopters and 4 Agusta 109 Power Helicopters. Beside these, 15 additional aircraft have been ordered by the Federal Government, which include 12 Super Tucano attack aircraft and 3 JF-17 Thunder multi-role fighter aircraft. In addition, the Service also took over 11 aircraft from other MDAs. These include 3 EC-135 helicopters and 3 Dauphin helicopters from NNPC, 3 Donier 228 aircraft and 2 Agusta 101 from the Presidential Air Fleet (PAF); making an unprecedented total of 47 aircraft that have either been inducted into the NAF or ordered for the Service since 2015. In the same vein, over 20 previously grounded aircraft have been reactivated within the past 5 years. After induction, the 2 new helicopters will be deployed to theatres of operation across the country to reinforce NAF capability in the fight against insurgency and other forms of criminality.

You no dey think? So before Nigeria bought Agusta helicopter, MRAPs, APCs, our MoD dont write letters of intent, they just jump to payment like fools who dont know protocol?

What are you saying like you drunk? We are comparing specifically Army AFV fleets and you say our air force and navy is bigger than Ghana's, only a dummy counts aircrafts and ships in AFV vehicles topic of discuss.

Its Nigeria burning at war with army deployed everywhere in N.E, Middle Belt, N.W, Niger Delta, S.E, with BH ISWA war 100,000 civilians killed, 1,000 military dead, thousands of virgins girls and housewives raped, and millions of us forced to be war refugees shamefully in Naija.

Ghana has AFV numbers fit for its army size, and its army size fit for its country size. Ghana has enough equipment for it's near zero threat level and 50 years continuous peace its enjoying. Our Nigeria is full of terrorists, insurgents, bandits, militants, kidnappers, IPOB rebel, killer rapist herdsmen, and yet we have an AFV fleet too small for our size and huge urgent needs in 10 years long war time.

U.S.A are good and quick at falsely critiszing other nations equipment, Especially competitors
When they learnt their patriot anti air ain't as good as they sold it the world... They quickly criticised and sanction Turkey for buying a better responsive S-400.

Don't be deceived bro, they are not trying to make me understand anything, one is a Buharist angry with my photo of PMB happily looking at ancient NA Vickers MBT in N.E.

The other one didn't know I got Ghana info from Army Recognition & Defence Web, he misfired and to save his face he keeps yapping at me than to say sorry, he feels too big at his level, he never become LGA Councilor yet o. grin

Few weeks ago here somebody posted Cameroon Pantsir SAM procurement with source saying it's Defence Ministers declaring intention but no contract yet. Same guys trying to lecture me now, they didn't tell the poster to show them contract papers, like they want me to get payment proof as if I owe them duty. I am not a JJC in defence matter, am a retired soldier, I know what makes a super power bro.

Ghana Super Tucano example you posted screenshots, you got it very wrong man! Defence Web said Z-9, Mil, C-295 by confirmed by Ghana, and truly to Ghana's word in 2015 Ghana took delivery 4 Z-9, 1 Mil-35, in 2015 and 1 C-295 in 2016. You actually proved me right and proved them wrong, Ghana is reliable in procurement plans, I am not saying things cant change in contracts.

Only Sup. Tucano remains for Ghana and they never said 2015.

Tucano is not to use judge Ghana, we Nigeria paid for Tucano 2018 for delivery Brazil says 2024. Tucano is hot cake, other countries paid before Ghana, it's a queue, all buyers line up wait for turns. I am no ignoramus in military stuff, those boys you see noising here, have habit to fool around on Nairaland grin grin

According to the proforce brochure they engage in one project after another starting from PF2,PF leopard PF armoured Gunboat then PF ARA MRAP.Currently they are at PF ARA stage because they are to still building other variant of the ARA.Lets go back in time.During the very first ARA project they stated that they are working on a prototype tank and nobody believed me when I said it.After the ARA project the tank is next followed by a 4x4 vehicle and PF viper. I'm sure y'all remember proforce signed a deal with a Turkish company for production of some stuff.that is what I'm sure will be integrated on the tank

If you have problem reading to understand I really don't think that should be my issue. I proved to you that no single arm of Ghanaian military is even equipment before now not to talk of modernization.

Why are you dancing up and down.

You were talking about Ghana modernization and I told you clearly that all they are doing is to fill gaps and not modernization.

I also proved it to you that we are already building Armoured protected vehicles/Armoured fighting vehicles and not just buying, which makes us better.

You dummy fail to realize that Ghana haven't even bought these equipments. They are still at the early stage of the process which is nothing to write home about until deal get to an advanced stage.

In terms of ratio of equipment to size of army, please provide us with proof of your claim. To the best of my knowledge Ghanaian army is nothing to write home about at least for now and in the nearest future.

Please don't be too fast to think about reply you want to give. Just try to Google information about the two military you are comparing. You are really behaving like someone without common sense not to talk of having knowledge of military around Africa.
