Same in Nigeria,we only hear of actors and actresses when their marriages crash. Like few days ago was the first time i knew psquare's sister was married to an actor,tho i have seen the actor in a movie before,i had forgotten about him along time ago.

It shouldn't surprise you dear. That is human nature and has been so throughout all ages. People rejoice when others are downtrodden. The insults will always come, the haters will always hate. What we can do as humans is to find a way to rise above it all without giving up what is rightfully ours.

This is where I have a problem with the Sussexes. I don't understand why they allowed the family and press to edge them out. I am also a lot more upset with Meghan because I feel that she was the only one that could have talked Harry out of this insane decision. I am so terribly disappointed.

If it didn't matter, Harry would not have dropped the titles. If I were them, to avoid a royal palava, I'll keep my title, retain or relinquish some priveleges and move on, no matter what anyone thinks

Harry did not drop the titles. The queen took it off them. They wanted to retain the titles while living their lives and doing any duties they were comfortable with. The queen and her people simply told them there's no middle ground. You're either in or out.

Did they call the child names because he's a member of the royal family or because they(the press) are just vile and evil people? Those are just excuses. Which means Harry and Megan will in no time be under the ownership of Williams and Kate, and so you know there is bad blood between them already. So why not get away now that grandma is still alive?

Honestly, there are some things you might think you are prepared for until you enter and realize its not as easy as it seemed ,i think that is what happened to Megan.

Whatever happens, wishing them the best. We all deserve peace, i dont know if i would do any different if i was in their shoes.

I wanted to read all posts before replying but I want to call you out Coco on this:

You must admit that the black man has problems building institutions, obeying rules and following leadership. We have very weak impulses to collectively establishing societies. There is barely any collection of black people you can point to as being sustainably successful and world beating. Individually, yes some successes but collectively the annals of history are clear.

Not criticising that woman, afterall the human soul basically yearns for liberty but in order to project ideals sacrifices have to be made to coalesce power, something the black man simply cannot do. If she was going to 'modernise' the royal family and if she was going to battle out the racism, how on earth is this action going to achieve that.

And I say this with all sense of critical thinking looking even at our little country Nigeria. Why can't the black man be cerebral in his actions. Why can't he apply soft power, why can't he be diplomatic in his ways, why can't he negotiate to gain ground, stoop to conquer. Why is the black man always confrontational, rash, always acting before thinking, and his ways always set in a zero sum game. Meaning it is always 'my way or the highway'.

Just look at Nigeria, the largest collection of black people in the world within one fence... a mini disaster. I am black. I have nothing against blacks.... but unfortunately I have a lot of issues against blacks.

What are you saying. The BRF is an institution with laid down rules concerning succession which Harry will have been aware of since he began using a fork and spoon. And these are not the dark ages where warmongering determined who had the throne so there simplycannot be any bad blood between William and HHarry as to the throne just as thete is absolutely none between Charles and Andrew just as there is none between HRH Queen Elizabeth and Princess Anne her sister.

No one is jealous of the other and certainly in the modern era there no one is remotely thinking of changing the order of succession. Thanks to HRH Queen Elizabeth the BRF has come to a degree of stability and she has do e evrything to ensure the throne remains firmly in the House of Windsor which it wasn't always.

When you walk into an institution with your eyes open you surely must be prepared for a change in the way you think, speak and act. That is normal. What is abnormal is you exoecting the institution to vhange overnight just because you joined, an institution over a thousand years old, with hundreds of active practitioners. If she felt she was going to modernise it and de-radicalise it then she should have been prepared for a long, hard battle. But it is evident she wasn't.

Why then criticise the institution that she was attracted to in the first place.
