It's time we wake up.. enough is enough. Why would one region feel dey are smart in there ways towards others while dey are not but dumb.Seeing this pics makes me feel so bad to be candid because of hw d north av been taken this amotekun issue..from the look of things there have never been one Nigeria. There is no day that would pass that u wouldn't hear Fulani killings or herdsmen and farmers crisis but u will never see any of this northerners condemning this attrocities. Herdsmen will leave there own land and encroach in others people farms destroying their plants and they will name it farmers and herdsmen crisis rather than looking at the issue and cautioning the herdsmen. It's really high time we all Nigerians stand up and ask questions were we need to,lets keep our religion, ethnicity etc aside and discuss the issues that will promote us as one and lead us forward. God bless Nigeria and Nigerians, one love.
You don't know what you want yet or you clearly don't have the balls to ask for it. Mr, you have no country. This Nigeria doesn't belong to you. You and yours are merely tolerated.

Bro, i understand. We have been there once. For the audacity of Ojukwu millions lost lives. Python was not anti Kanu, it was anti-Ibo. FG could have simply sorrounded and extracted Kanu from that compound without unecessary force. That was excessive force. They were not going into sambisa...they were going to an individual household.
If Army had to use that scale of force for one man it means they have not gained skills in use of surveillance and stealth to demolish opposition. They are still in primitive stages of using hardware.

But the puzzles of the big picture painted by Obasanjo is taking shape. Those who did not see before are now aware. For those who could see before, their vision did them no good. We are all in same boat.
I must say that your comments of late have been tangential most times to the previous ones. It's good that you've started to identify properly your enemy. The fact is that the resistance Igbos gave to the fulani agenda is the saving grace of other ethnic groups in Nigeria but no one understand this. Today, fulanis are bold enough to push their agenda to the 4th gear. Keep up educating Sarrki and his likes. The war nobody from the South wants will be brought on them whether they like it or not. I've seen it already and we in IPOB know it too. Danjuma has seen it too. The Hausa/fulanis have been training their young men in the art of warfare for long using Boko haram. All their elites know and are part of it. They see Amotekun as a similar tool by your people hence they'll fight tooth and nail to crush it to make their future fight a walk over. IPOB formed B.SS to tackle the murderous herdsmen and every other group condemned it not minding the reason for its formation. Fulanis fear resistance more than anything unfortunately other groups are aiding them unknowingly in their nepotistic agenda. Today, here we are.
War is coming. They'll never relinquish power in 2023 to any other group because it will set their plan behind by 8yrs. Let those that have ears hear my message again.

I like your confession but i think you have to say more than this.
For the people lost to python no one can recover their losses.

I supported Buhari also but during python i condemned the action. No one is more disgusted with ibo here than i am but we have to see and speak up against violation of people rights. That python was an abuse and not a political action, in fact its an hatred.

Ever since that time i laid low and am not as opposed to ibo as i used to be before. They were denied justice in python. Their hunan rights was grossly violated.

So Sarrki, i think your confessions here is good. You cannot undo what has been done. Learn and in future when Ibo is under attack try to see if its justified or not. If its not then stand up and speak up for them even against Buhari or anybody. Do that bro.
Baba in all honesty, this your advice should be the other way round. Sarrki as I know him here is a better Nigerian than you will ever be.

Your bigotry here is bae!

This group is part of the Civilian JTF, a counter-insurgency group. They were set up in 2013 to fight Boko Haram.

Why dint the South West politicians and Southern President complain and declare it illegal in 2013?

No one would have declared it illegal because Southerners generally have a progressive mindset and understand the importance of security and preservation of life however it can be gotten. However, the Northern hypocrites I see you are holding brief for have played their hands now more clearly than ever before. More discerning persons had long seen their antecedents and raised the alarm but now, other slumbering Southerners have been forced awake and can see the writing very clearly.

For the current Northern government to declare illegal in the South, that which operates freely in their own domain, they have clearly shown their agenda. No more dulling from the South again, one Nigeria is not by force and neither is it compulsory. Regional governance is also very welcome and will come to pass as the islamic north thinks they must be lord and master of all

You call ignoring a possible unconstitutional act a progressive mindset? If the "South" decided to keep quiet and ignore what might have been an unconstitutional act, don't now cry foul and blame the North for raising an objection when they see unconstitutional act that they feel is detrimental to their region. I have always said it that Nigerians in the South need to do an inward assessment of the purpose of their legislators who are being paid billions of Naira to represent them.

The truth is Civilian JTF's brief (counter-insurgency) is very different from Amotekun's (crime fighting). For obvious reasons, the former would need sophisticated weapons while the latter might not. So the poster comparing both is being disingenuous. Sadly going by the posts here, a lot of people have fallen for it.

You miss the point. It is not unconstitutional and that is why no one has any serious qualms about the CJTF. Beyond this, some Northern states have other vigilante, neighbourhood outfits similar to Amotekun and they carry weapons. They were also formed without any one bothering them because it is community policing. The reason these comparisons now arise is because of the odious hypocrisy displayed by the Northern interests. Apart from Hisbah which is religious-based and backed by state laws, these other groups have no legal backing so why the special interest and unnecessary noise in the South? The Rivers State House of Assembly passed a law establishing a neighborhood watch sometime in 2018 (see links added), yet the Army disbanded them and branded it illegal so what exactly is the problem?

@the bold I agree with you to the extent that our representatives at federal level and even state governors are selfish. Like this issue of Rivers I just mentioned, I see no reason why the state allowed the issue to die upon the interference of the Army without a spirited legal fight considering that the organization is backed by state law.

You are wrong. Any state or neighbourhood security corps that carry weapons are illegal. It is clearly stated in our constitution.

And you have to ask yourself why the "North" did not raise alarm and complain when Ambode launched the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps in 2016? See pics below. The simple reason was because it was not regional and they were not allowed to carry arms.

Wike's excuse was that he couldn't fund it, not because the army came in. He couldn't be bothered to challenge it since he didn't really want to spend the money.
