With Rohr at the helm, we might end up ruing our loss. We all saw him and what he's got to offer, at the AFCON, especially, against giants like Madagascar
cheesy grin

Seems you will never fully accept Rohr as the coach

Confirmed : Super Eagles Midfielder Completes Move To Deportivo de La Coruna

Through a statement on their official website, Spanish Segunda División side Deportivo de La Coruña have announced the signing of Nigeria international Uche Agbo.

The central midfielder cut short his loan spell with Sporting Braga in Portugal which was due to expire at the end of the 2019-2020 season before joining Deportivo de La Coruña on loan for the remainder of the campaign.

Uche passed a medical at the HM Modelo Hospital last week and has visited the facilities of the Sports City of Abegondo and the ABANCA-RIAZOR Stadium to watch his new teammates in action.

The 24-year-old wore the colours of Taraba, JUTH and Enyimba in his homeland before transferring to Udinese in 2013 following a successful trial and his other clubs in Europe include Granada, Watford and Rayo Vallecano.

He was a member of the Nigeria squad to the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup and was named to the country's provisional roster for the senior World Cup five years later.

An option to extend his contract has been inserted into the deal taking him to Deportivo de La Coruña.

Deportivo de La Coruña, who sit 20th in the table with 24 points from 24 matches, are guests to Albacete in their next league game on Sunday, January 26.

Salzburg target Okafor as Haaland successor

Red Bull Salzburg are hoping to sign Basel striker Noah Okafor as a replacement for Erling Haaland, report the Salzburger Nachrichten.

The Austrian champions have lost two key attackers in January with Haaland joining Borussia Dortmund and Takumi Minamino heading to Liverpool.

Okafor, 19, has impressed for Basel this season, with a goal every other game in the Europa League. He made his Switzerland debut against England at the UEFA Nations League finals last year.
Why are you bringing it here??

Yeah... But then the battle for the one slot from each group throws up some titanic battles involving some of the groups' top 2. wink
Yeah...but recall the last qualifiers typically had up to 3 top teams per group. I think it is relatively easier this time mostly because unlike last qualifiers where we had 20 teams at this stage, this time we are having 40.

Another thing is Nigeria's ranking really helped. Recall the last time we were in pot 3 while Cameroon and Algeria were the top 2 ranked teams. Being a seeded team helped this time for us avoid the top ranked teams.

Though I am not ruling out any team in that group but I think all 6 games are winnable. Like I had earlier pointed if we can cruise through our AFCON and WC qualifiers our FIFA ranking will tremendously improve and we may stand a good chance of being placed in a favorable good. Thank God we are not playing CHAN this year grin, so our ranking for this year and next would be based solely on the Super Eagles performances.

Where did i say he should be automatically recalled?

Most of una no like the guy

All our transfer speculation which one don work out?

We all know many of you dont like him, but i am glad victor is a guy with pride and doesnt care anymore about the national team

You are ridicculous because you dey drink panadol for victor moses headche

I still think inter millan is better than the team all our super eagles players ply their trade, so stop pretending by saying who inter milan help, if our wingers are even better than him self e for better
you are the one ridiculous here... Why can't you just comprehend a simple statement before you throw insults anyhow? one oga here reported his move to inter and he opined that he could be recalled to SE if he perform. And I opposed, that we should 'let bygone be bygone', moses has paid his own due to the SE. Basic!! No dey throw insult anyhow abeg

Meanwhile, I saw the Martinelli goal. This is part of why I rate that lad. Why I mentioned him alongside Osimhen, Haaland (actually Håland), Greenwood and Werner among a few quality others as the next super no.9s this decade is gonna enjoy. cool
