Personally I think that goal was down to Kante's mistake rather than any form of brilliance. He effectively just ran 70 yards unopposed and tucked the ball home, nothing we haven't seen Musa and even Ikedia doing

I dont rate him much thou, but i still think he is better than overrated Vinicius Akpororo Junior of madrid

He was born in Okija but moved to England with his family when he was ten years old. I want to ask can he play as a play maker and give Iwobi competition in that play maker or attacking midfielder role. How good is he and what is his best position. Somebody educate me

He is an out n out winger who can operate from both flanks. He is skillful, explosive and strong on the ball with good work rate. He is also prolific in front of goal. He is a good team player

For an 18 years old boy playing in the Brazilian 4th division last season to score double figures for Arsenal in all competitions this season means something. He's very good. I hate his much higher than Vinicius.
He was signed from Ituano in the Brazilian 4th division, not Santos or flamengos.

Not cos he's Brazilian but cos of the way he plays. What he does is what makes Lacazette tired after 65mins in any game. Yet the kid still finds the net and youve got to give it to him.


He sprinted 26 times yesternight alone. And did you see how he was defensively too? Blocked 4crosses to CKs. And he will still be in the right place at the right time in Attack mode.

Dude literally works for himself unassisted most times.

He was chased by a player though. And ofcos it is NOT a goal of the season contender-kinda goal but to be fair, he is 18 and having the composure and technique to keep the ball at close control for that run-up to the goal in a high tension top class London derby shows the kid's got heart and the mentality for the top. Martinelli scoring the way he did in that world class atmosphere is a big deal. I don't think Ikedia ever scored such at 18.

Note: No be yesterday, I start to dey watch Martinelli. So it was not just about one great game. The lad is truly quality.

I watched Obagoal's inter compilation.... Id say after JJ's, he comes in a close 2nd for best performance. All thru the clip, i kept asking why no Nigerian has taken serie A by storm since then......
