He claimed everything in Lagos was done by FG. What is the contributions from Northern region to the development of Lagos? Nothing. The internally generated revenue from Lagos for several years till date is used an addition to oil money to develop Abuja and the North, their brothers from Chad and Niger are also parasites on Southern Nigeria wealth. The South East and South South are fully in support of Amotekun. The South is fully ready to break from Nigeria, it is the Yorubas that is frustrating the South. No amount of blackmail will make the IBO's to support the North against self determination and freedom. This is the period we have been waiting for. We are ready to enter into alliance with Israel and US to free ourselves from terrorism and oppression |

Bethel4Life:I wish. APC will send Osinbajo to help kill off Amotekun. Just watch. But something tells me that when APC and Buhari makes certain confirmatory noises of Tinubu and the Yorubas receiving the APC Presidential ticket in 2023, Amotekun will die a natural death. |

freeze001:Are you saying Igbos are only in Lagos? There are millions of Igbos littered over southwest, enjoying peace and tranquility offered by we Yorubas. You chose to focus on that hospitality stuff he said, but he made a point. We give you and every tribe hospitality in the SW. You said if it was an Igbo man that said this, we would be vibrating with insults... Have you seen any Yoruba person supporting Junaid? Or you are selectively blind to the comments above yours. It seems you're the one vibrating with natural stupidity here, to be honest |

We have the Igbos and other tribes in the southwest so why is Fulani so bothered about the security of the southwest.clear conscience fears no accusations,if Fulani are not terrorist they should shut up for once.is federal state regions should be responsible for their security, again Igbos will stand side by side with the yoruba in this matter and beyond untill Biafra and oduduwa is restored .GOD BLESS BIAFRA GOD BLESS ODUDUWA REPUBLIC. |

Arrewa:FIrstly, your submissions above has nothing to do with your being a "born again" christian...whatever that means! Secondly, the constitution does not stop communities from protecting herself! Why do people build fences around thier houses, inside an estate that is already fenced round and very secure? Like Park View in Lagos, VGC, Omole estate, Pinnock etc. Why? Protection. Every state has the right to devise a means to protect herself especially when the "federal security architecture" seems to fail or is failing. Ofcourse, one may frown at the fact that federalism does not allow regional autonomy et al, but when fundamental human rights are involved, that is second place.-right to life and protection of your property is a fundamental human right even acknowledged by several UN charters and conventions. If my government cannot guarantee that right per time, are you saying I should fold my hands until "they" come and kill me? Like the "Fulani herdsmen" were alledged to assasinate the daughter of an APC chieftain in the west along Benin Akure road? How can that happen under community policing? Are you aware that in every community they know who is legitimate and who is not? Even in the area you live, are you saying you can't tell who has questionable character and who is straight forward? Armed robbers have wives and kids, their kids live among us, some are known but people are afraid to tell the police hence reprisals from their gangs. How do you think the Police do their jobs? From credible intelligence. Or "informants" as widely known. What Amotekun is, is intelligence gathering for the security agencies. It is what Hisbah Police is. Take a look... Kano- Hisbah Police, Katsina-Hisbah Police, Kaduna-Vigilante Service, Nasarawa-Hisbah Police, Zamfara-Yankasa, Taraba- Taraba Mashals,Sokoto- Yambanga, Ebony- Ebonyi neigbourhood watch group, Rivers- Rivers government neigbourhood safety corps, Benue- Benue livestock guards, and you are complaining of Amotekun? Where was the AGF when these mushrooms security outfit sprang up? Why are they afraid? That means they had plans...plans that they can invade these communities in the west at anytime and carry out their nefarious activities. Do you understand that some men cheat? Even some married men at that cheat, yet they may threaten to kill someone if they found out that their wives cheated on them. Look at it objectively and hollistcally if you like, is it fair? You cheat yet you frown when I cheat. If indeed cheating isn't good then lets not cheat, but if it i, then let us all cheat equally, simple. I deliberately brought in the cheating analogy to drive home my point. That said, I do not and would never subscribe to that way of life, but truth must be told. He who comes to equity must come with clean hands. The blame is also on the Federal government! How? By allowing sectarian ideologies to gestate in the first place. 1. Introduction of Sharia in most Northen states. 2. Introduction of Community policing like Hisbah etc. 3. No clear framework on the modus operandi of these privately funded but public agencies. 4. Failure of the Police to "adequately" secure lives and properties. The list is not exhaustive. Speaking about which? Are you aware that Hisbah police can come to your shop and cart away alcoholic beverages? Even though you may be a christian? Where is the right to live anywhere in the country and practice your faith as enshrined in the constitution? The west is saying, okay let us also set up a similar agency like Hisbah and protect our communities, difference is that they didn't do it discretly but with pomp and pageantry....but you should know that Yorubas generally are "show men", they like showmanship and there is nothing wrong with that. I am even planning to go to Akwa Ibom and encourage my folks there to also set up a network of community Policing with Cross River, Abia, Rivers and Bayelsa in tow. That way we can all the "protected" or atleast have a false sense of protection. Lastly, i am a christian. I will never rejoice when anyone is murdered or killed irrespective of his religion. When Jesus walked the earth, he went to the house of Zaccheaus a famous tax collector and a "sinner"- tax collectors then were known to cheat and extort people. Some of the Jews especially the Pharises frown at such association.....take a listen to what Jesus replied.... "Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost." (Luke 19:9-10) I rest my case. |

Recently, governors of Southwest states came together to set up a security outfit called Amotekun to check insecurity in their region. This comes as the national security architecture seems overwhelmed, but the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami, said it is unconstitutional. What is your take?Operation Amotekun which is a security architecture for the south west is being blown out of context and politicised by mostly northerners. If they have human feelings above commercial interest they should feel the pulse of the people in the south west and reason along with them as to why they took the decision to establish Operation Amotekun. The south west feel threatened with insecurity such as herdsmen killing of farmers, kidnapping etc With the federal government security agencies being overstretched beyond its limits. The governors in the south west had to initiate this remedial structure to complement the federal security agencies. However, northern political leaders are unrelenting. THEY SMELL A RAT ! They want Operation Amotekun disbanded. And they are unrelenting about it. I am wondering why the north can not for one time accept conditions from the south. When Hisbah and Civilian JTF came up in the north the south did not challenge them to a standstill. They conceded it to the north. A governor from Zamfara state Sani Yerima amputated a ram thelf using Sharia penal code. Ex-governor Sani Yerima got away with it without Obasanjo government or any other government bringing him to face justice. Junaid Mohammed should stop blowing the trumpet of war. It has not gotten to that. |

we actually expect the slave master to fight back, no slave Master allows his slaves to go free just like that, this is the time for the south to unite together for its freedom! |

One that read your comment will see that you are biased person. And I don't really see any different btw Hausa/Fulani Christian and Muslim... They push the same agenda, and it is their (Christians) fear that tied them down under the control of their Muslims counterpart. Your comment shows that you are suffering from the lack of so many things like our constitution, politics and some causes of our problem as a nation. Your lack of knowledge exposed you that you don't know that laws that gives room to hisbah, vigilante and the JTF in the North. It is that same law that opens door for Amotekun. Whether abokis like it or not, Amotekun has come to stay and there is nothing your Hausa/Fulani forefathers can do to it. I am guiding myself against any form of evil and you are here crying foul. Is it your fathers' land Amotekun is coming to secure? Now I know that these people(abokifulani) are nothing but lazy...are you afraid to face Igbo alone if peradventure Yoruba declare its republic?
