[s]As a born again Christian who is meant to speak the truth at all times, i think this amoketun issue is being hypocritically blown out of proportion to expand hatred for other tribes especially the Fulanis. Why must we Christians be the brain behind the vast support for Amotekun when the Nigerian constitution is clear about the roles of the armed forces and police in the security of the country? Why must we form an ethnic militia to target fellow Nigerians when the constitution guarantees freedom of movement and doing business nationwide as long as we are Nigerians? What we fail to realize is that the south east cheering on Amotekun sees its as a synonym for their biafra agitations and they will rather support anything that will disband the relative peace and unity of Nigeria. The IPOB sympathizers will be the one to cry wolf when Amotekun starts targeting their tribesmen who commits various crimes in the south west. MURIC recently condemned the killing of a CAN pastor and sympathized with we Christians, how many Christians will condemn the killing of an imam or Muslims? Instead we rejoice when tragedy strikes them forgetting we are all humans before religion. Instead of emulating our Muslim brothers who have remained silent on this issue of Amotekun, we Christians are disturbing the cyberspace with hypocritical comments. Amotekun will never see the light of the day as long as we remain one Nigeria. It's a bad policy and a tribalistic security outfit aimed at persecuting other Nigerians. On behalf of we Christians, i condemn Amotekun. Let's learn to live in peace and harmony[/s]

Tell that to the people of Benue state who have lost thousands of their kinsmen to your brothers.

Tell that to people in the Southern part of Nigeria who were raped and who lost lives and family members to your brothers.

Tell that to Leah Sharibu who is still in Boko Haram's den after being captured almost three years ago just because she's a Christian.

If you see nothing wrong in all these and you still maintain your stance, then I pray for exact same calamity as listed above be visited upon you.

Can I hear an amen?

The north can play politics with Boko Haram and billions of Naira is taken from us to develop your lands right? Why we Southwest can’t set up a community policing to wade off criminals?
Go and warn your people that the Southwest won’t tolerate any notoriety either from the Fulani herdsmen, Igbos or any of our neighbors taking our hospitality for granted!!

Everything in Lagos today was done by the Federal Government. Somehow they believe that they can get away with it, retain what is their own, let the rest of us all go and wallow in poverty. Good luck to them.

Lagos is the sole reason y'all make noise about the SW and some fake hospitality. Being a former national capital coupled with the special focus of the FG what has made Lagos what it is along with the clear, significant efforts of other Nigerians that are forced to live and work there because till date, it has the only functional seaport. Protect the region any way you can, that is absolutely critical but read and see what those you ordinarily love to lick their arses have to say about your region. If an Igbo person said same thing, you would have been vibrating with insults and general stupidity.

Has any Igbo or IPOB member caused any unrest or insecurity in your region as these northerners have? Hospitality bunkum! Well done.

You are just being economical with the truth, must people in the south west fold their hands and allow what happened to CAN chairman of Adamawa to repeat it itself before they swing to action, they said "prevention is better than cures.

Do you really mean that crap you typed especially the bold part? Muslims have been silent? Are the AGF, Malami or the Minister for Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi, Christians? Or is it Miyetti Allah leadership that has been running from pillar to post, frothing at the mouth with amotekun issues? This Junaid is no longer muslim? What about Akintola of MURIC?

It is muslims that have in fact been rabid with fear and condemnation all over the public space because they know their criminal intents will be heavily checkmated with this initiative. They also know that other Southern regions are in support and are watching closely and before long, similar outfits will be set up over the entire South and NC then nonsense fulani harassment will be decisively stopped! Why the fear of secession? Must Nigeria remain as is with all the madness we see and experience?

Hate speech@ topic

Secondly this man isn’t being sincere. He’s trying to be smart bt not very smart. Amotekun is addressing real security threats in the region that cannot be overlooked and these threats carry weapons, we have seen their attacks all over the place with the police unable to cater find a solution to them.

It’s has nothing against any region. it’s only after bandits, criminals and those who come to cause disorder. What is wrong with that?
