How did you know if he is ready or not?

How ready was oliseh when he was given the super Eagles job? This is nigeria anything can happen.

Because I doubt he has the maturity and integrity to manage egos in the team. Its not just about tactics on the pitch. Football mgt is beyond that.

NFF: Eagles Won’t Underrate 2022 W/Cup Qualifiers Opponents; We’ll Resolve Contract Issue with Rohr

January 23, 2020

2:58 pm

General Secretary of Nigeria Football Federation, Dr Mohammed Sanusi, says that the Super Eagles will not underrate any of their 2022 FIFA World Cup Africa Group C qualifiers opponents even as he expressed optimism that Nigeria will emerge from the pool, Completesports.com reports.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have been drawn in Group C alongside Cape Verde, Central Africa Republic and Liberia. The winner of the group will qualify for the knock out phase

“I think our group looks good on the surface, but I tell you, all the countries in this group are good and tough and the Super Eagles cannot afford to underrate any one of them. There are no more minnows in African football, and as such, we must approach every game with all seriousness,” said Sanusi who was at the draw ceremony in Egypt.

“We learnt some lessons from the last AFCON in Egypt where a country like Madagascar caused some stirs by topping the group that included Nigeria. We will play all our group opponents with the respect they deserve. The ultimate is to top the group and progress to the next round of the qualifiers.”

On the issue of fresh contract for Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr, Dr Sanusi urged the media to play down on that, assuring that the contract issue would be resolved amicably, adding that it’s an employer and employee matter.

“Harping on Gernot Rohr’s contract issue is diversionary. I think we should concentrate on our AFCON qualifications matches against Sierra Leone in March and Benin republic in July,” he stated.

“We want to qualify for every competition we participate in, that is why we don’t want distractions,” the Kebbi State born administrator concluded.

Good to here.

Congrats on the slow but sure revival at Arsenal. Its just like when Klopp arrived newly. You guys just need to stick with Arteta. He will grow with the team

Yes you do. That how the NFF knew the late Stephen Keshi applied for the Ivory Coast job.

Does the NFF release reports like this?

Where are they ? Children of Ahab always saying baloney that the English championship is tough because teams eliminate EPL teams in cup games ? Watch them act all blind not knowing a 3 tier team I can't pronounce knocked out the other Side of Madrid with a R. It's safe to say using your drunk pundits prowess here that the 3 tier team will effortlessly obliterate the teams in EPL and championship. Drunks without Honour

From the report, Siasia deserves the ban. Another brain down the line. I do not think he can beat this. He should start a coaching clinic and teach youngsters coaching. The Bayelsa State Government and Ministry of sports can support it, so we do not waste his brain.
He's also trying to waste 250k euros

Even though I welcome the lad with open arms.... What you have said here is also very true. And that's exactly what I find so funny about most of the Naija foreign borns (the Naija lads with dual/multiple citizenships). Anyway, their cup of tea.

Blueelf:

I have nothing against the guy.

But if he was playing so well and England came calling, he would tell us "give me more time to think"
They most always sww us as second choice (like when filling jb form those days). cheesy grin.

He is currently not better than either chuks or Kalu or moses (both of them). So, even with Naija national .team, he is on a long thing except he improves.

This is my opinion. Hateful and venomous words will be ignored as always

There are other trades. He should let go and learn something else. Or find a passive means to continue being a figure in the game. Not do this, humiliate himself further.

This will amount to committing another fraud since the purpose of the donation is supposed to be for fighting his case. This alone will prove that he is actually corrupt and committed the offence.

Newcastle United-linked winger Ademola Lookman is attracting interest from another English Premier League team, a week before the close of the January transfer window.

West Ham United dedicated website Claret & Hugh claims the Hammers have shown interest in signing the former Everton starlet this month.

The 2017 England U20 World Cup winner was linked with Premier League teams before sealing a permanent transfer to RB Leipzig last summer.

The Bundesliga side re-signed him on the back of his impressive performances whilst on loan at the club in the second half of the 2017-2018 season in which he scored 5 goals and set up four others.

Lookman has struggled for game time this season, with only two starts from a possible 26 in all competitions which could make him consider his future at the Saxony club despite having a contract until June 2024.

The 22-year-old made his name with Championship club Charlton Athletic before he was acquired by Everton in January 2017.

We have not seen the conversation they claim he had. If that conversation was available I doubt Siasia would want to appeal.

Leganes was the only la Liga team to win last night. Betis, celta Vigo and eiba also lost. This is actually normal. The difference is there won't be a second leg for them to get things right.

The new Copa del Rey format exposes weak squads. If u don't have good players outside your starting XI you will be in trouble because nobody wants to risk their status in la liga for a cup.
