Leicester City midfielders Youri Tielemans and James Maddison are backing Kelechi Iheanacho to step into the shoes of talismanic striker Jamie Vardy.

The former England international is a doubt for The Foxes upcoming match against Brentford in the Emirates FA Cup after he was forced off injured during the first half against West Ham on Wednesday.

Should Vardy fail to recover, Iheanacho has been earmarked as his replacement, just as was the case in the two recent matches against West Ham and Newcastle United in the Premier League.

"We created a lot of chances from everywhere, from our wingers, and from Kelechi who came on. Everything was positive,'' Tielemans was quoted as saying by Leicester Mercury after the win against West Ham.

He was convicted for fixing matches so surely players will also be banned. I am not a lawyer but as a layman I can tell you that they have not proved anything against Siasia in my eyes.
