Imam Tawhidi says Putting on hijab on little girls is sexualizing them

Mohammad Tawhidi, a Muslim influencer and reformist Imam has spoken up against little kids wearing hijabs.

Tawhidi who wondered why parents will be covering their kids with scarfs and robes meant for grown women in a video he shared, stated that the act sexualizes little girls.

She’s a toddler that can’t even walk. Why do you cover her up with a robe and scarf that’s intended for mature women only? Even if you claim it’s a religious practice, it doesn’t apply to baby girls. You’re sexualizing a baby girl. You are sick.
