Former Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant was killed Sunday in a helicopter crash in Southern California, according to TMZ.

The crash occurred around 10 a.m. in foggy conditions above Calabasas, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The crash ignited a brush fire, making it more difficult for firefighters and emergency personnel to get to the crash site.
