I was just about to say this, but on the other hand, they should have reported the case to the police as well because it shows the hospital did not properly check the level of damage done by be stabbings. Perhaps they just applied bandage and covering the wounds. There would have been an internal injury which abruptly ended the lady's life.

Now that they've gone to arrest the operator of that clinic, when next a knife-wound or gunshot emergency is brought to him, he will insist on 'police report' before treatment (even when the victim has money to pay) and the individual will most probably die.

All this because the policemen want to make an extra hundred thousand or so in bribes; DPO will take his share, IPO, station officer will collect.

Yet when it's pointed out that civil servants, politicians etc are literally feeding on the flesh and blood of regular Nigerians, some accursed, stinking animals in human skin will jump out of their lairs with insults....

It's not their job to hold down the suspect. Their job is to face the patient squarely, and not babysit the person that brought her to the hospital.
