Name your phone, so you can get the appropriate Gcam for it.

Stock ROM: the default factory installed Android OS on your phone, from your phone's manufacturer. Also any other approved ROMs pushed to your phone (or made available) by the manufacturer.

SP tools: A PC based application used for flashing Mediatek based phones. Note that most Xiaomi, and Redmi phones use Snapdragon SoCs. A notable exception is the Redmi note 8 pro which uses MediaTek's Helio G90T SoC.

Please can anyone tell me if redmi note 8 with model number M1908C3JG supports Glo band 28? I stupidly bought the phone without doing my homework. I haven't been able to get 4g where I live.

It doesn't have band 28, but it has band 3 which is not available in every location. I sometimes get 4g on mine, band 3 I guess.

Only Redmi Note 8T has Band 28. But Glo are still deploying band 3 all hope is not lost. I use band 3 on my RN5

k30 isnt necessarily an upgrade to k20

true. Depends on what you are looking for.

The lcd screen seems, in my opinion, the only real letdown that the k30 has and I'm quite indifferent about it.
