So today I went to repair my phone at an engineer's place by the road side.

Then I saw too much of shouting, I thought they were fighting. But then I saw only women there With the few guys being chased away.

The woman's water just broke. No nurse or doctor or something, no bed just bare floor with elderly women around and she gave birth just by the roadside. The heat, dust, all unfavorable conditions and she still gave birth in less than 30 mins.

Then I wonder this same childbirth that take the lives of other people, some require operation while some long hours and yet this woman was able to deliver.

They still got her to stand up to enter Keke and was taken to the health care center with the placeta uncut from the baby. There was a roar of rejoice, thousands of congratulations.

I was happy and even made a silent prayer for her and her baby

Thank God for a successful delivery. The greatest man was born in a manger - a trough for animals to eat from.
Where one is born is not significant.

However why is there no man to assist in taking the delivery ? Could it be that no one offered to assist or they were chased away?

This is one time you see women come together united for a purpose. I've experienced it in a market. They start by loosing one wrapper from the two they normally tie. From nowhere you see division of labor; those forming security against men, those forming the wall of Jericho with wrapper, those with midwifery experience attending to the woman in labour. God is truly the greatest instead of delaying the pregnancy to she gets a hospital he decided it would be wiser for a woman to give birth by the road side with a high chance of death.
He could have provided them with financial help or maybe a doctor but no he thought it would be wiser for a bunch of old unqualified women to perform child birth.
Reminds me of how this same God gave Leah a child even tho she was raped by a Muslim.
