You might have to root the phone then, starting with :
1. Unlock bootloader
2. Install twrp or any other compatible custom recovery
3. Install any English ROM you want

First off, unlock the phone's bootloader. Then download, and install the following on a PC:
- MiFlash tool
- ADB and Fastboot
Finally, download the appropriate Global ROM for your Redmi note 8 pro.
You will use the MiFlash tool, with the aid of Adb and Fastboot commands to flash the Global ROM onto your Redmi note 8 pro.

I would strongly advise you to visit xda forums, and YouTube to read, or watch comprehensive guides.

I got my Redmi note 8 3 weeks ago and i have discovered recently that it has screen sensitivity issue, the keyboard presses keys i didn't on its own, sometimes when i try to press and hold the screen to view whatsapp status it doesn't work, instead it moves to the next status.
Any other person experiencing this?

The Redmi Note 8T is also a Global Version made for the European market.

NFC(Near Field Communication) is not for notifications but for digital payments and we don't currently use that here. You can also use it to connect wireless speakers with the support.

So your theory is wrong.

Redmi Note 8 has Notification Led while Redmi Note 8T doesn't
