A highly watered down tale of the legendary Harriet Tubman. For goodness sakes, how difficult is it for these filmmakers to adopt and make a historical accurate movie. Am truly pissed here, this is an insult to the legacy, sacrifice, bravery, courage & strength of this great woman & the American history. Had it been that i wasn't ware of her story before now, it would have been much better for me. The blood of my MB will surely judge & hunt Rotten Tomatoes & IMDb for their ridiculous & misleading ratings.

All I would say is its Worth it...
I enjoyed every bit of it even though I'm not a fan of horror movie...

I am trying to break this unhealthy movie watching habit.

I will watch the opening twenty minutes, go and read the entire plot on Wikipedia then abandon the movie for three months till the plot I read is no longer fresh in memory.

Do this shiit every time and can't seem to stop it.

Thank God I'm not the only one on this table... I even read the plots many a times before watching the movie.

leonard mistakenly killed his wife and his brain in order to cope with the trauma, invented a phantom killer.

leonard dedicated his life to hunting someone that didn't exist (thanks to his brain/mind lying to him), but along the way, he got used by people that knew about his medical condition for own selfish gain.

No Sire, being with her during her travails, would only make me an anachronism.
I did an academic paper on Harriet few years back, i was deeply buried in my research, that i felt great empathy for this outstanding woman, her sacrifice, bravery, strength & courage was next to none.
The historical inaccuracies depicted in the movie really rankled me, cause i know what it ought to be, hence, that movie was an insult to Harriet Tubman's legacy & frankly speaking, It would have been better if that flick wasn't made.
