A dentist at the General hospital in Gombe State is reportedly on the run after allegedly administering the wrong injection to a student of Federal University, Gombe.



The late student was identified as 'Alex' and it was learnt that he died, barely a day to his birthday due to the alleged carelessness of the dentist.

Another give me plier say make I pull am out. I swear one give me screwdriver and hammer say make I nack am comot. Last last one man for the next house Wey be doctor just give me small things make I drink na so I balance. In two days I Don balance.
Make God no make us see tooth ache.
For when e set na him go make am accept any treatment. The pain too much. That's why Mr runaway doctor use am as guinea pig.

Na wa. That was how last year one breast doctor said he will place me on injection after I complained of pains in my right breast. Each injection will cost 15k and I will take it for 3 months. He just spoke some big grammer to confuse me more and kept on asking when am I coming for the injection that I should start it asap before it becomes serious. As I stepped out of the 3 bedroom flat breast clinic, I quickly reason all he said and the spirit of fear came upon me. I told myself, Shile person wey dem wan burn no dey take petrol rub body. What if the injection cause more damage in your body? What if the doctor is quack because he looks it, what if it's a sleep of death injection? That was how I japa and never return. Unknown to me, the cause of the pain in my breast was my Bra. I wear bra all round the clock even when sleeping at night and I sleep on my breast. So I stopped wearing bra and switched to sport bras only for some months and I changed my sleeping position. That was how the pains stopped till date. Now I wear normal bra and I haven't felt any pains till date.
As for the breast clinic I don't know what happened but the government locked the place.

1. Wrong technique, may be rather than delivering it to the nerve locality the needle was in a vein.
2. The patient has hypersensitivity to lignocaine.
