USA, France, Canada, Australia and Co who have already recorded infections are not High risk. It is the countries with zero infection records these fools felt they would name as High risk.

WHO Africa( African annex of World health organisation).....they are world health organisation that are concerned with health issues in Africa...we also have WHO Asia,WHO Europe etc
Don't waste your time anymore on that guy. He's exactly like the people ruling him: negatively minded and backward.
His leaders will also interpret that warning from the WHO the same way he's doing now, and will refuse to take proactive measures, with negative consequences for the masses when the virus eventually comes.

but truly we need to be cautious, because we have a large traffic of people going to China from Nigeria. Likewise, we have a lot of Chinese immigrants in Nigeria.

God save us.

Must you abuse them?

Nigerian aggression. Always spontaneous.

What they mean is, this virus will likely thrive in countries that are densely populated and with the least technology or "know-how" to contain it.

Back to the topic: WHO didn't consider USA and UK high risk, it's Nigeria & other third world countries that they're quick to label as high risk.

Una plan no go work
Is the government well prepared for an outbreak? Insult Gej as much as you will but his administration was able to control Ebola outbreak in a country of 200mill

Nigeria has a poor health system when compared to those countries you mentioned in your post.

How can you compare your health system with France, Canada, Australia?

In all level of development indices this countries are miles ahead of Nigeria, so we are more at risk than them

Is the lassa fever not bad enough

May God help us and protect us all, amen
Every few centuries nature tries to do population control. Black death, Spanish flu, ebola, now Corona virus. Hopefully we can bring it under control before it wipes off a huge number of people. But that's how nature is, it has to keep population balance in order to allow for redistribution of resources so everyone doesn't die off. Sad but true(look at the 5 great extinctions)

Exactly my reasoning oo. Boko haram, armed banditry, fulani herders, corruption, travel ban,now it's health issues. When the number one citizen has refused to lead by example, what do you expect na? Ordinary ear problem, he travelled to london to treat. Isn't it high time we split? At least every region would tackle their problems themselves head-on. When you open the newspapers and social media every morning as the day passes...na news wey fit spoil person day go stare person for face. It's well!

If it hits without early detection, Nigeria will be a ground zero "Resident Evil Umbrella Corps facility". We won't stand a chance. Worst hit would be Southwest, as most travelling to and from China use the Lagos Intl Airport more than any other place. And if it hits the Southwest, it will spread across Nigeria very fast, first to the East, Southsouth, North and then Middlebelt. It's not funny anymore. The projections don't look too good. God have mercy!
cheesy Resident Evil! What a perfect description. Do we even have what it takes to detect anything? With our "Minister of health" asking/pleading Chinese travelers quarantine "themselves"? This country is about to collapse, it's only a matter of when.

There is no such thing as a poor health system when it comes to the Corona Virus. Every country stands equal risk because the virus so far has no cure.

Or is it a different strain of the virus that is in those countries from what they think will come to Africa?

So far all other countries are doing is to Quarantine the infected same way we did during the Ebola scare.

So how are they then better?

Do we have the facilities to quarantine? Hospitals in the US have special isolation sections and procedures to follow once it's detected. Do Nigerians even have access to basic healthcare?

Do we have the database and network to hunt down people who have been in contact with an infected person? Are we able to react immediately?

I pray it doesn't even enter Nigeria.

Our government can't provide us with nose masks and other protective devices at a subsidised rate.

I pray they come up with the vaccine quickly.

..........

But am thinking this virus was intentionally produced for reasons I don't know anyway.

You apparently are dodging the questions. There can never be a basis to compare health systems in Nigeria to the West. Even the president admits that by his actions.

Are they saying that there's more influx of Chinese in Africa than Europe,South America or even North America,no,in fact,CAPITAL NO.

We currently have OVER 258 confirmed cases of lassa fever with more than 40 deaths so far in Nigeria.

Now I'm hearing with my left ear that the deadly respiratory infection known as Corona virus which started in Wuhan, China MAY actually be closer to us in Nigeria than we had imagined. It is already in Kenya, Ivory Coast and Ethiopia. And come February 2, hundreds if not thousands of Chinese resident in Nigeria who went home for their Lunar new year will start returning to Naija. With our govt announcing Visa-On-Arrival policy plus the porous nature of our land borders, not forgetting the general governmentlessness in the land,

How prepared are we to tackle this deadly disease?

How does the Corona virus spread? What are the symptoms? What are the preventive measures we need to take to avoid the virus?
Please I want experts on the subject matter to tell us if the virus is transmittable through goods and logages, because these are coming in from China in droves and may not get attentions and testings compared to humans

World Health Organization criminals want to send the virus to Nigeria through kits and lab materials, so as to ensure pharmaceuticals sell their drugs
