AngryIgboMan:In the cities you quoted there are metro lines that ensure mass transit but in Lagos and other cities that okada was banned there is no fumciional mass transit system Ask those using the ikorodu get corridor how long they must wait to get on the bus? What stops the LASG from leasing that corridors to more than one company to boost competition and bus numbers? Why are they always buying buses by themselves when you have investment hungry business men and women looking for good returnson investment? Of course Okadas and kekes had to fill in the vacuum these self centred APC and PDP characters that occupy leadership positions. The timing is very very wrong especially in Lagos....Ambode's bus reform project was a systematic approach a better approach. Create more bus stops to prevent too much trekking, get comfortable mega buses tplying within the metropiaolise...the likes can complete the last mile. What is sanwo olu's plan for replacing those eye sores we call danfo? YOU DO NOT TAKE SOMETHING AWAY WITHOUT FIRST PROVIDING A BETTER REPLACEMENT. Yes okadas and kekes have become a menace But you all these governors just want to seem powerful and make a false statement with the people paying the ultimate price |

DAVE5:You are the real MVP! We hail and celebrate mediocrity here, no wonder people applaud Keke/Okada ban as a great achievement. Untill government commit to infrastructural development especially road and transport.....I will continue to see them as political jokers. |

TheMan3:Do they think before they act? The individuals commending these "low reasoned policies" are the ones rich enough to drive big cars that have dashboard cameras that took the same snap shots of that very flyover we see above. They are indeed glad that they can try out the speed of their cars without the hindrances of these tricycles and bikes. These policies favour those who are seemingly at the top. We should learn to consider those down. This land belongs to both. |

49cents:Come what is it with this Lagos sef. Is it the only city in Nigeria? Did they tie all your placentas to Lagos? So you cannot make it in life unless you are in lagos. Abi? Please stop complaining.... If Lagos is too difficult to survive then move to other city's out of the state now. I know people that have done it and are not regretting it. Haba Mana. |

melviniyke2002:If I am interviewing you.. it's your skills I'm interested in not who you know. Studies have shown that that model of who you know only spawns mediocres and does not encourage skills and professionalism at work leading to extremely low productivity Try and get something to be skilled at and watch the miracle of job hiring |

Very obvious you took these pix from a vehicle. What about those who don't have cars? Its really hard to navigate this city without these transport modes. The government is just been insensitive to the plight of its citizenry |

alezzy13:Those buses calling Maryland - Palmgrove from Ikeja can route their buses either through Olowu-Toyin-Opebi Roads or through Obafemi Awolowo way-Allen Avenue - Opebi Road. The only snag to the success of plying the above routes are availability of buses and the transport fare those, sometimes, manipulative bus drivers will choose to charge passengers going that way. |

AngryIgboMan:Tokyo, New York, beijing all have efficient public transportation systems and Lagos has NONE. The same govt has been in power for over 20yrs...yet LASG fire service cannot put out common fire. Using water bucket to scoop water to quench fire is an indication of a failed state. Another fire or emergency is on ur way... pls dont cry... just take it as super human |

AngryIgboMan:Does Lagos or even Nigeria have the same transport system as these countries you have mentioned? Where are the fast trains and well regulated and on time buses all around the city? ”But do make available more organized and well tailored Public system of transportation and movement”- shouldn’t those have come before this insane ban? You say a lot but that doesn’t mean you’re making sense. |

ENIGMATIC2023:Yes!!! If he can fill the void with more secure and dignifying model If you are stuck to the archaic and outdated means of transport which okada represents, you apparently don’t belong to Lagos and it future. |
