Honda Accord too is selling, especially in the north.

The accord.with the light line is a facelift 11 upwards or so.

2. Camry has problem with the 2.4L in 07 to 09 and the 13pin gear is sensitive, the compressor too fails and expensive

The accord 2.0L Engine is scarce in the market but the 2.4 is ok, it doesn't have much of an issue but won't take abuse like a Camry.

3. Toyota dey sell like HOT Akara and pap on a cold morning

4. The accord Engine is expensive than Camry but I am not sure about the transmission.

Other things to look out for
Don't buy stolen, lemon, no duty vehicle shikena

I can't really say but EOD and DC were K24A while the Evil Spirit was K24Z so both Engines are different their transmission could also be different though they are both 5speed auto

Their transmissions are different.

Infact the 2008 accord 2.4 comes with 2 different engine variants: K24Z2( LX and LXP) and K24Z3 (EX)

Two different transmissions, with unique gear ratios. It cannot be interchanged.

What ever you do, don't buy a V6 of any of those models .

Heated seats, dual zone climate, leather upholstery, woodgrain interior, improved dash layout, compass, e.t.c

The xle trim brings an experience that is close to what you find in a Mercedes Benz.

Why don't you buy the V6 version of those cars so that we can all use you to get concrete reason to buy or not buy it?


But seriously.... There are two people I know who drive the V6 versions of a Honda baby boy... Aside them both having recurring gearbox problems, the vehicles are trouble free as much as I can tell ... I can't honestly assume that all V6 baby boys or other V6 accords arr like that sha.... But with those my niggas who drive the V6 accord, I have enough reason to avoid any V6 accord...

But to be honest, the V6 baby boy handles and accelerates far better than the 4 plugs version..... But last last, man shall not live by handling and acceleration alone

Meanwhile a friend of mine who uses a RX300 Lexus meet a mechanic who connected two "resistors" or "stepdown" to the fuel injectors to reduce fuel consumption and its working perfectly. Any long-term side effect on the engine out vehicle performance?

I have heard nasty tales about the 2008 Accord V6. Its supposed to be a no go area and its engine is on the expensive collection.

The engine design for the 2008 V6 has very cool features and very good on fuel efficiency with its VCM that shuts down 3 cylinders. I heard the system is prone to failure and you know Naija mechanics.

And the Accord 2.0 is no no for its low power, scarce and expensive engine.

So OP should stick to the 2.4L engine if eventually the Accord is the one.
