The topic is not about money, if it's killing you so much that you must know about their money or if you want some of their money, go and ask them or ask their branch in your village.

With the current ban of Okada and Keke on major highways and streets in Lagos it will bring sanity, but the governor should as ban the MC oluomo Agbero gang bandits terrorising commercial bus drivers.

Road transport workers associations all over the world collect fees and dues, but they don't collect taxes, this is just a sad reflection of your own ignorance.

There's a difference between tax collection and union fees. NRUTW is a private association, not a government agency or ministry and if you are not ignorant and you are indeed a patriot and not a charlatan, you should know this.

It is only Lagos that is filled with thugs at every junction,markets, bus-stops and motorparks. If u choose to ignore them, something expensive among ur car part is going along with them.
Check other places outside Lagos, u can only find them at major motorparks and markets and it is always done in an orderly manner. When a bus wants to take off after being filled up with passengers, the driver pays and the rest of the journey remains peaceful until another trip when coming back.
Even if nothing is done about about it, I will continue to speak and act against injustice....Oluomo or not...

I have followed this thread with interest. Laughing and choking at lots of comments. You sure do know how to stand your ground. Posts from Solmus also stood out too. I am a Cameroonian but closely follow Nigerian events. Normally a topic as this is hardly of interest to me except this time around MC Olumo's name was mentioned.

I first picked interest in him months ago after reading on his son's educational exploits in the US. As a father who prides in his childrens extraordinary educational success it was easy for me to fall inlove with MC Olumo.

As far as I am away from a thuggish life who am I to condemn the dude. He is a success story in his own right. If thuggery means being this influential, having succesful kids, appearing on the news, beeing filmed with the Governor of a US state, then I want to be a thug. Afterall even kids of government ministers and doctors studying abroad dont get to give their parents the glory Olumo's son gave him.

Road transport syndicates all over the world are no holy grounds..In Africa it gets worse. Here physical strength and not brains is what you need to survive. Contrary to popular opinion the money the collect are not taxes but transport and syndicate fees. Depending on the country a small portion of that money is remitted to government coffers and pockets of local officials.

Sadly on Nairaland every thread becomes a tribal fighting ground. The question is from a neutral point of view who do I admire more; Nnamdi or MC. MC offcourse..
